Puppy Stylin' Review

They say that pets usually look like their owners. That's probably not a good thing if you own a pitbull! On that topic, Puppy Stylin' is a quirky time management game that has you styling up pampered pooches with hairdos, clothes, nail polish, and accessories, all to match their equally quirky masters.

Kitten Sanctuary Review

Well, it's not every day you come across a cute little kitten raising game that involves tile matching and alien abductions. That's the premise of Kitten Sanctuary, a quirky match 3 family game that's surprisingly engaging. Don't worry – the space aliens barely feature in the game play, and not a hair on a kitten's head is harmed.

3 Stars of Destiny Review

The French-made role-playing game 3 Stars of Destiny pushes no boundaries. Its teen-saves-world story is far from original, and it doesn’t introduce any innovative mechanics or scenarios. It simply maintains the classic RPG status quo.

Cate West - The Velvet Keys Review

A peculiar string of murders has the police baffled in Cate West: The Velvet Keys. Though clearly not alive, the bodies show no sign of foul play, and aren't decaying the way three-day-old bodies should. Cate offers to use her unique talent for seeing visions to help find a suspect, and quickly discovers an ancient curse, a hidden crypt, and an old enemy who may not be quite what he appears.

Wild Tribe Review

Wild Tribe is a Virtual Villagers-style strategy game where you must care for a desert island tribe by helping them build things, gather food and water, defend themselves, grow and make new discoveries. Instead of people, though, your tribe consists of creatures called “wobblies” that can evolve into different animals. While it’s a cute twist, Wild Tribe doesn’t have the same level of depth as some of its contemporaries.

Dragon Wars

It’s not easy surviving a world filled with magical beasts, skeleton armies and fire breathing dragons. Each quest you embark on is filled with the dangers of being roasted on open flames or even devoured by beasts as big as a mountain. This game is not your typical Dungeon’s and Dragons game... it’s much more. You can’t simply role a dice to escape your enemies.

I hope you’re up for a challenge, and I do mean challenge, because Dragon Wars by Zynga will keep your mouse clicking with 2D and 3D quests. The game is available to both Facebook and MySpace users.

iPhone: Topple 2

Putting a good game in the iPhone App Store can be a real balancing
act, and few titles know this as well as Topple 2. After all, balancing
is what the original Topple was all about. But the balancing act ngmoco
has to pull off has to do with more than just the gameplay. They need
to balance to success of their original title with the expectations of
its fans. And Topple 2 delivers.
