The one takeaway from today’s Apple TV announcement I had was “huh, I guess we have to use the Siri Remote when playing games. I wonder how comfortable that will be?” But while no alternatives were mentioned during today’s unveiling, the eagle-eyed folks at Polygon spotted a very important phrase on the Apple TV App Store page for Transistor: “Game Controller Optional”.

There’s no confirmation of which controllers will work with Apple TV, but we’ve got to think MFi controllers like the SteelSeries Stratus XL will be included.
