It’s hard to blink lately without seeing another Warhammer video game announcement. One of the most recent (though not the most recent), made just weeks ago, was for the upcoming Pixel Toys-developed Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade. An action game that puts players in the seat of their very own Imperial Knight, Freeblade seemed to show a lot of promise in its initial announcement.

Apple must have thought so too, because that’s the game they chose to showcase a brand new feature of the iPhone 6S at the Apple Event earlier today in San Francsisco, California.

Dubbed 3D Touch, the one truly unique feature of the iPhone 6S can sense different levels of pressure from the user. These, in turn, can be used to ask an app to take different actions. How does that translate to gaming? In the case of Warhammer 40k: Freeblade, you’ll be able to press to zoom in and out, as well as to switch weapons, “all without taking a finger off the screen” according to Pixel Toys’ CEO Andy Wafer.

Expect to see Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade on the App Store sometime this holiday season.
