When the team at Craneballs announces a new game, we tend to expect a lot of shooting and a lot of guns. They’re best known for the Overkill series, which has kind of become a amateur weaponoligist’s dream come true.
But that doesn’t mean they can’t make something cute every now and again.
Launching this Thursday, Cube Worm is the studio’s take on Snake, aka the first mobile game worth noting. Instead of existing on a 2D plane though, the snake worm will have to navigate its way around a 3-dimensional cube. Players will need to avoid obstacles while satiating the worm’s ever-growing hunger.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the “snake on a cube” formula, but we’ll be damned if it doesn’t look cute. Look out for this one on the App Store and Google Play when it hits later this week.
