There are some impossible truths that we all embraceĀ to help usĀ get through the day. In my case, these truths usually sound like “of course french fries are healthy, they’re made from potatoes!”

Oh — and let’s not forget “I’m sure Galactic Keep will come out one day, they’re just making sure it’s perfect first.”

After 6 years of waiting (and having gone hands-on with what I would have considered a 5-star version last summer), that last truth is about to drop the “impossible” moniker. The official Gilded Skull Games Twitter confirmed it yesterdayĀ — Galactic Keep has been submitted to Apple for approval.

We spoke with Gilded Skull’s Rob Lemon about this turn of events this morning, and he says the team couldn’t be more excited.

“It’s a big milestone for the team as this is, by far, the largest project we have ever worked on in our lives,” Lemon told Gamezebo. “It feels quite surreal to actually be ‘finished’, at least for now.”

If that statement has you worried we won’t be seeing the complete game at launch, don’t panic — he says that while “there are always things that we felt like we could add,” what’s been submitted is an accurate reflection of what they initially set out to accomplish.

What’s next? The studio is already working on content to add to the game post-launch, andĀ hope to keepĀ it regularly updated assuming all goes well.

There’s no word yet on a release date, but so long as Apple gets Galactic Keep through the approval process quickly, you should be able to get your hands on it before the end of the month.

Jim Squires is the Editor-in-Chief of Gamezebo. Everything you see passes his eyes first, so we like to think of him as "the gatekeeper of cool stuff." He likes good games, great writing, and just can't say no to a hamburger. Also, he is not a bear.
