Scott Cawthon has never been known to do things traditionally, so why we thought we could predict his release schedule for FNAF4 is beyond me. It’s a mistake we (probably) won’t make again.

Whether we were right or wrong about the release date doesn’t matter now. What matters is that Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is available for your iPhone and iPad right now.

The fourth game in the series, FNAF4 takes players out of the pizzeria and into the home of a traumatized child in a world full of unpleasant stuffies. What’s new this time around? Instead of security cameras, the game plays with sound. You’ll want to pop on a pair of headphones and listen carefully before opening your bedroom door.

Our full review (based on last week’s Android version) is available here, and if you find yourself stuggling to survive the night, be sure to bookmark our Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 tips, cheats and strategies.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is available now on the App Store for $2.99.
