While I haven’t played it in a few years, I have fond memories of the early App Store hit Death Worm. Burrowing through the ground, building momentum, and then destroying the world above felt a little like starring in “Godzilla vs That Sandworm from Tremors.”

Only… y’know. Without Godzilla.

In short, it was a super fun gameplay mechanic that, with the exception of the other early App Store hit Super Mega Worm, we haven’t really seen pop up very often. But the just-released trailer for Dragon Hills (above) makes me wonder if that wormlike-gameplay might be making a comeback.

The next effort from developer Rebel Twins, Dragon Hills tells the tale of a dragon-riding princess hell-bent on revenge.

“With just one-touch you can slide down the hills, jump in and out of the ground, crashing and destroying everything on your way,” Rebel Twins’ Cezary Rajkowski tells Gamezebo. So maybe it’s a little bit Tiny Wings, a little bit Super Mega Worm?

We’re not 100% sure, but we’re eager to find out. Expect Dragon Hills on iOS and Android “soon.”
