“Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever the team of auto-running geniuses at Gameloft will let him.”

Ok, so maybe it doesn’t quite have the same ring to it as this, but hey – NEW SPIDER-MAN GAME DAY!

Also, lots of good stuff. Tonight’s new releases are looking promising. Tune in tomorrow morning for our full recap, but as far as right now goes, these five are at the top of our radar:

Spider-Man Unlimited

We’ve been waiting all summer for this, and as someone whose had a little bit of early time with the game, let me just say IT’S SO GOOD YOU GUYS. Our full review will be coming soon, but yeah – this is every bit the game you want a Spider-Man autorunner to be, complete with pithy Spider-Humor.

Phantom Rift

Looking to get a little Mega Man Battle Network-style wizardry on your iPhone? Foursaken Media has you covered with their latest release: an adventure RPG starring a magic man and a 6×3 grid.

Dragon Quest

Well that didn’t take long! It was only last week that we were bringing news of the first three Dragon Quest games going mobile, and tonight that trilogy kicks off.

Goblin Sword

While it’s not a game about Orcist (sigh), it is a game about old school platforming action. We haven’t had as many brilliant iOS platformers as we should have at this point, but if the trailer is anything to go by, Goblin Sword should have no problem joining their ranks.

The Sleeping Prince

A puzzle platformer where you ragdoll the hero around the screen instead of worrying about d-pads and buttons? I can get on board with that. It probably doesn’t hurt that it was made by Signal Studios, the same folks responsible for the very nifty Xbox Live Arcade war game Toy Soldiers.
