Suburban Mysteries: The Labyrinth of The Past
When you see the words “horror hidden object game,” you probably think about the multitude of games in the genre that take us to mental hospitals, abandoned mansions and more, as we search for someone or something to solve the current mystery at hand.
In PlataGames’ upcoming hidden object puzzle adventure Suburban Mysteries: The Labyrinth of the Past, we’ll see all of those elements combined into one 4-5 hour long experience, but we’re promised “original twists never before used in this type of game.”
Suburban Mysteries follows the story of a young woman named Sarah, who finds a letter from her brother that warns her of danger. Returning to her family home in the country, she finds the place abandoned, a note left behind from abductors warning Sarah not to call the police or her family will be killed. Through a variety of locations (the family home, underground tunnels and eventually a mental hospital), we’ll search for clues as to where the captors took Sarah’s family all the while exploring Sarah’s past.
Throughout gameplay, we’ll search for hundreds of different hidden objects, complete mini-games and puzzles and will watch cutscenes that move the gameplay along. Each hidden object scene looks to contain hotspots or items that require additional steps to find, and we’ll complete plenty of puzzles to unlock doors or investigate medical experiments before all is said and done.
There’s no official release date for Suburban Mysteries: The Labyrinth of the Past, so make sure to follow the game right here on Gamezebo to be the first to know when you jump into Sarah’s shoes and save her family before it’s too late.
