Mafia Planet Preview

So what happens when a Mafia family grows and its territory gets a little crowded? It expands that territory, of course. First, a neighborhood. Then a city. Then the entire planet. Granted, it would take a lot of effort (to say nothing of a lot of bullets) for a single Mafia to lock the whole of Earth in a grid of organized crime, but Mafia Planet for iOS will at least let you give it a try.

Territory control goes global in Mafia Planet

So what happens when a Mafia family grows and its territory gets a little crowded? It expands that territory, of course. First, a neighborhood. Then a city. Then the entire planet. Granted, it would take a lot of effort (to say nothing of a lot of bullets) for a single Mafia to lock the whole of Earth in a grid of organized crime, but Mafia Planet for iOS will at least let you give it a try.

Mafia Planet

Mafia Planet is a location-based game that lets you turn your neighborhood into the seething crime nest that you always knew it had the potential to be. You begin the adventure as the Don of your neighborhood, which you immediately need to secure by taking over buildings and other structures. Using a real-world map, you complete quests that generally involve being bad. Rob stores, loot jewelers, give a bank a bad day. Oh, and the people you pass in the street are potential gangsters who can be mugged. Love thy neighbor.

If you achieve victory over other gangsters and their districts, you may find yourself earning experience points and moving up in the world of organized crime. Hey, why stop at Mafia Planet? Get ready for Mafia Universe!—Okay, maybe not until we’ve mastered that whole interstellar travel thing.
