You’re growing more than peas and tomatoes on Alien Farm for the iPhone
Where do babies come from? We’ll get back to you on that. Where do aliens come from? Why, they’re grown on a farm of course. Or at least that’s what Alien Farm, a free-to-play farming/combat game for iOS, would have us believe.
Alien Farm isn’t just about growing plants and aliens. Once you bring your little green-skinned (and red-skinned, and blue-skinned) beauties into the world, you need to forego the “Baby Einstein” phase and start preparing them for war. You and your army grow stronger by challenging other players, and by taking over their fields to gain experience points and gum up their attempts to grow more aliens.
If your own field is usurped, fear not, alien farmer friend. If you find the flag that your opponent set down, you can remove it and jump-start production again. There’s a fee, though, so if you don’t have coins, you won’t get your army back.
You can also battle against boss critters, including aliens. We’ve seen plants versus zombies, so alien plants versus zombies should be a natural transition, yes?
Yes indeed, your farm is meant to be a training camp for hardened alien beasts whose only color in life will be their enemies’ ichor splattered across the battlefield—but that doesn’t mean you can’t try to make the farm a nice place. Buy lots of nice décor to give the fields and farms a nice, homey glow. Be sure to follow Alien Farm right here on Gamezebo to be notified the moment it’s live on the App Store.
