Help Dr. Hoo retrieve his missing letters in Word U
While we all know libraries are a great place to sit down and read a good book, have you ever wondered what would happen if the letters contained within those books suddenly escaped the pages? In Fugazo’s upcoming puzzle game Word U, Dr. Hoo is dealing with that very situation, as the library has become overwhelmed with letters, and it’s your job to clear them out!
In expected word-game fashion, Word U asks you to create words using letter tiles that can be swapped to create longer words. The longer the word, the better your chance of creating a gemstone or bomb power up tile. These bomb tiles, as you might expect, can be used to clear whole sections of your board at once, while gemstones can be used to create large combos, earning you big score boosts in the process.
Word U comes with two gameplay modes for your word-creation pleasure. The classic mode offers 20 levels, but as levels are generated randomly (with letter tiles never appearing in the same overall layout twice), there’s really a never-ending stream of word building fun ahead of you. The other gameplay mode, Action mode, is a more hectic experience as levels are timed. On top of all of this, you’ll be able to unlock 30 trophies by completing specific tasks within the game.
Word U will be available on PCs everywhere later this month. Make sure to follow the game right here on Gamezebo to be the first to know when you can help poor Dr. Hoo dig himself out of this pile of never-ending letters!
