Armygeddon Preview

Movies from years ago trained us to expect fantastic things from “the future”. Hoverboards, jetpacks, flying cars and robot butlers to name a few. Alas it is now “the future” and none of these things are a part of everyday reality. In fact, we’re taking a step backwards by cutting funds to NASA. But hey, I’m not trying to get all political here, I’m just saying that if you’re a fan of games like Advance Wars or Military Madness, wouldn’t it be way cooler if the armies were made of futuristic robots? If you’re answering that with an emphatic “yes!” Armygeddon has you covered.

Aeria Mobile gets ready for the war of the future in Armygeddon

Armygeddon is a turn-based strategy game in a near-future military setting. Episodic single-player content and asynchronous multiplayer combat are on the bill as players will level up heroes to lead their army, hone their squad tactics through PvP, and compete in weekly contests. Unit selection, deployment, and strategy are the keys to victory. As a nice added feature guild-like “alliances” will be available for groups of players to join up on the same side and take on other alliances.

Developer Aeria Mobile doesn’t have an exact release date, but you should expect Armygeddon to hit iOS devices soon. You can bet that we’ll have a full review ready for you when it releases, as we’re looking forward to getting our grubby little turn-based strategy-loving hands on it just as much as you are.
