Game Introduction – Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light

Welcome to the Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light walkthrough on Gamezebo. Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light is a Hidden Object-Adventure game played on PC created by Shaman Games. This walkthrough includes tips and tricks, helpful hints, and a strategy guide on how to complete Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light.

General Information

  • You can choose to play this game in Regular or Expert Mode. In Expert Mode Hint and Skip buttons recharge slower and active zones are not indicated with sparkles
  • In the Options Menu you can change the volume of various types of sounds and choose to play with a custom cursor or in windowed or full screen mode
  • At the start of the game you can choose to play a little tutorial that shows you the various types of interactions
    – A hand cursor means you can grab an item
    – A magnifying glass means you can zoom in on an object
    – The cursor become a compass with an arrow in places where you can exit to the next scene
  • Hidden object scenes (HOS) are indicated with sparkles in both Regular and Expert Mode
  • Some of the items in the HOS will be listed in blue, meaning they require an extra action to be found. Sometimes two items need to be put together, in which case one of them will be indicated with a hand cursor and the other with a magnifying glass. In other cases you just need to click on something to reveal the item you are looking for
  • All puzzles can be skipped when the Skip button is fully charged. Puzzles can be reset by backing out and trying again
  • The Hint button can be used both in HOS and on regular maps. When there is nothing left to do on the current map, you will be told and the Hint button will not need to recharge
  • The Collector’s Edition of this game features a bonus chapter, which can be accessed from the main menu under “extras” after you’ve completed the game. When you’ve completed the bonus chapter more goodies will be unlocked, such as music, concept art, a wallpaper and a screen saver

Shipwrecked

 Phantasmal Light

  • Click on the stranded boat for a HOS

 Phantasmal Light

  • To find the coins, click on the purse (green)
  • To find the suitcase and the boot, first find the key (yellow) and use it to unlock the cabin door (yellow). Inside the cabin are the boot and the suitcase. When the cabin doors are open, other items may get blocked and turn blue, so you may need to close the doors again to find all items
  • Finding the newspaper (orange) will give you a journal entry
  • Complete the HOS to find a STONE (blue)
  • Back on the beach, zoom in on the post with the light on it (orange)
  • Smash the window with the STONE and pick up the KEY
  • Note the lighthouse-shaped indentation at the back of the compartment
  • Make your way to the rickety stairs in the back

 Phantasmal Light

  • Frighten away the birds on the rowboat and zoom in on the boat (orange)
  • Pick up the map, which will go into your journal, and the OAR
  • Zoom in on the barrel (green) and find the RAKE
  • The barrel is plugged with a cork, but you can’t take it out yet
  • Zoom in on the iron door (yellow) and open the lock by placing the KEY and turning it
  • Zoom in on the opened door for a puzzle

 Phantasmal Light

  • You need to release the weights by pulling out the metal pins. You can move the pins by clicking and dragging. Pins may be blocked by other weights, so the pins need to be removed in the order as shown in the screenshot. A green number means the pin can be pulled back but not yet removed entirely
  • For fun you can also scare away the little crab in the sea shell front right
  • Go up the stairs

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the back of the boat and take the MATCHES
  • Zoom in on the boat. There’s a strange symbol on the window
  • Smash the window with the ROCK
  • The window has now become a HOS

 Phantasmal Light

  • Use the handle on the cabinet to open it and find any hidden objects inside (green). Note that the cabinet hatch may obstruct other items, so close it when necessary
  • Use the glass cutter on the window to get the glass heart (orange)
  • Clicking on the note will give you a journal entry (blue)
  • Find the FISH HEAD (yellow)
  • To the left of the stairs is a niche covered with poison ivy. You need to find a tool to cut the ivy

The Cabin

  • Go further up the stairs to the cabin on the rock
  • The boat you just climbed past is suspended from a pulley, but you need something to unlock it
  • A large stone is blocking the path to the back
  • Before going to the cabin, first go left to the graveyard gates

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the cart on the right and use the RAKE to find BINOCULARS
  • The graveyard gate is chained up and there’s a knife wedged into the tree trunk on the left
  • Back out one screen to the outside of the cabin
  • Zoom in on the door of the cabin and place the FISH HEAD to get a puzzle

 Phantasmal Light

  • You need to drag the chain of yellow balls across the field so all cells are filled
  • Enter the cabin

  • Zoom in on the newspaper on the floor (green) to find some NAILS
  • Also note the spade symbol in the top right corner
  • Zoom in on the tripod in the back and place the BINOCULARS (yellow)
  • Look through the binoculars to find the number 13
  • Exit to the cabin interior and zoom in on the couch

 Phantasmal Light

  • To open the locked folder you need to enter the numbers 1 and 3 and the spade symbol into the lock. However, there are only a select number of symbols and numbers to choose from for each slot. The only combination that’s possible is 1 – spade – 3
  • Inside the folder is a drawing showing you how to fix a leaky boat with melted tree resin and a RULER
  • Zoom in on the door beside the couch and open the latch with the RULER
  • Behind the door is now a HOS

 Phantasmal Light

  • To make the flour, put the grain in the pestle and mortar (blue)
  • To find the key, mash the wall in the top left with the hammer (green)
  • Complete the scene to get BOLT CUTTERS (yellow)
  • In the top right corner of the room is a ladder you need to oil before you can pull it down
  • Exit the cabin and go left again to the graveyard gate

 Phantasmal Light

  • Cut the chains on the gate (red) with the BOLT CUTTERS (yellow)
  • Go through the gate to the graveyard
  • Pick up the HAMMER and read the note (orange)
  • Zoom in on the grave with the candle and pick up the BEAM (green)
  • You can’t board the stranded ship just yet
  • Back out two screens to the outside of the cabin and zoom in on the large rock blocking the path

  • Use the BEAM as a lever to move the rock
  • You can now move down the path

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the small tree on the right and get the DRY RESIN
  • On the left is a fishing net covering something important, but you need to cut it with something
  • On the right is your next HOS

 Phantasmal Light

  • To get the wood chip, click on the axe and then take the wood chip it cuts from the pole (green)
  • Open the wicker basket by cutting the ropes with the razor and find the items inside (blue). As usual, you can open and close the lid as required
  • Complete the scene to get a WEDGE (yellow)
  • Go further down the path to the water

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the boat on the left, pick up the BOARDS and read the note
  • There is a leaky row boat you need to fix, and a ship that you can’t access without a ladder
  • You can now go and release the knife in the tree stump by the graveyard gate, so back out twice and go left

  • Zoom in on the tree stump, place the WEDGE in the crack and hit it twice with your HAMMER
  • Take the KNIFE
  • Back out to the cabin

 Phantasmal Light

  • After the cut scene, read the note that has appeared on the fence

Boarding the ships

  • Go back down the middle path, zoom in on the fishing net on the left and cut it with the KNIFE
  • Take the LIGHTHOUSE
  • Back out two screens to the dangling boat and do the new HOS

 Phantasmal Light

  • To get the spider, grab the fly on the right and put it on the web in the top left corner (green)
  • Complete the scene to find a DIPPER (yellow)
  • Back out two more screens to the beach where you shipwrecked and play the new HOS in the boat

 Phantasmal Light

  • To find the mermaid, grab the rag and clean the window (green)
  • Open the hatch on the left using the ring just before it for more blue items (orange)
  • Complete the scene to get the GRAPPLING HOOK (yellow)

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the stone post with the lamp, place the LIGHTHOUSE and take the WEST SIDE COMPASS
  • Go back up the stairs to the cabin, then go left and through the gate
  • Zoom in on the ship and use the GRAPPLING HOOK to get on board

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in to the right of the cannon and fix the ladder with the BOARDS, the NAILS and the HAMMER (yellow)
  • Take the SHIP LADDER
  • The skeleton behind the gate on the left has a capsule on a chain around his neck, but you can’t get to it
  • Click on the middle of the deck so it caves in, then play the HOS

 Phantasmal Light

  • To get the canary, remove the cloth from the cage
  • To find the shirt, pull down the blue handkerchief
  • Complete the scene to get PLIERS
  • You can go to the upper deck right now, but let’s do that later when there are more things for us to do there
  • Back out three screens to the cabin and go down the middle path and down to the water

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the ship and place the SHIP LADDER to get on board
  • Zoom in on the front of the cabin to find a HANDLE and some markings you can only read if you outline them with charcoal
  • Zoom in on the grate in the deck and undo the wire with the PLIERS

 Phantasmal Light

  • Play the HOS. Some of the items can only be found with the hatch closed, some only with the hatch opened
  • Complete the scene to get an OIL CAN
  • You can zoom in on the door of the cabin but it is welded shut
  • Back all the way out to the cabin on the rock and enter

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the ladder in the trapdoor and oil it with the OIL CAN
  • Go up the ladder to the attic
  • Zoom in on the burner on the table and light it with your MATCHES
  • Put the DRY RESIN into the bowl on the burner and get the MELTED RESIN
  • Pick up the LANTERN KNOB (circled yellow) by the burner
  • The red chest in the attic unlocks with a puzzle, but you need three balls for it first
  • Back out twice and go left and into the graveyard. Access the boat and go up to the upper deck

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the barrel on the right and take the DICE
  • Zoom in on the lantern in the back and use the LANTERN KNOB to get a WICK
  • Zoom in on the note that’s pinned to the gunwale and use the HANDLE to get the BOAT HOOK
  • Back out one screen and zoom in on the locked gate on the left

 Phantasmal Light

  • Use the BOAT HOOK to get the CAPSULE
  • Back out to the cabin and go down the middle path to the water

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the row boat
  • Place the OAR, use the DIPPER to bail out the water and then fix the leaks with the MELTED RESIN

Getting into the Lighthouse

  • Row the boat to the lighthouse

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the rocks by the path and take the SHEERS
  • You can move the rocks to reveal the soil underneath, but you need something to dig
  • Go on to the lighthouse and click on the man for some dialog
  • There is a note on the wall and a clue
  • To unlock the door you need three compasses and some more magnets. You only have one compass so far
  • Back out to the stone steps between the cabin and the water and do the new HOS that has appeared

 Phantasmal Light

  • To get the patch, place the piece of cloth on the hole in the jeans (green)
  • Complete the scene to get a HACKSAW (yellow)
  • Back out two scenes to the hanging boat

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the ivy on the left and cut it with the SHEERS
  • Find three ATTIC PUZZLE BALLS
  • Go back up to the cabin and enter
  • On the left is a new HOS

 Phantasmal Light

  • Click on the oyster with the knife to get the pearl (green)
  • Open the locket with the sheep on it to find the wolf (blue)
  • Complete the scene to get a TROWEL (yellow)
  • Go up to the attic and zoom in on the chest for a puzzle

 Phantasmal Light

  • Place the ATTIC PUZZLE BALLS
  • Rotate the puzzle with the arrows on the right to move the balls to the hole at the top
  • For the yellow ball click the up arrow twice
  • For the blue ball click up 2x, down 3x and up 1x
  • For the red ball click up 2x, down 3x, up 1x

 Phantasmal Light

  • Inside the chest is a GAS JET CAP and a journal with another note and instructions on how to make a bomb
  • Under the note is a HATCH RING
  • Zoom in on the table and place the GAS JET CAP on the burner to get a GAS JET
  • Place the CAPSULE in the vice and take the top off with the HACKSAW
  • Inside is a note and the CAPTAIN’S KEY
  • Back out two screens, go left to the graveyard and onto the ship
  • There is a new HOS on the lower deck

 Phantasmal Light

  • Open the barrel with the crowbar to get the pineapple (orange)
  • Click on the hanging rope to get the noose (green)
  • To find the spade, use the horn to scare away the bat (blue)
  • Complete the scene to get an EMPTY POWDER FLASK (yellow)
  • Go to the upper deck

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the chest and open it with the CAPTAIN’S KEY
  • Inside the chest is the EAST SIDE COMPASS
  • Back out to the cabin on the cliff and make your way down to the water along the middle path

 Phantasmal Light

  • Climb onto the boat and zoom in on the cabin door
  • Use the GAS JET to cut through the welding
  • Enter the cabin
  • You can zoom in on the door, the torn-up ship’s journal and the navigation device to the left of the wheel, but you can’t do anything yet
  • Go down the stairs

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the red chair and cut the fabric with your KNIFE
  • Inside is the NORTH SIDE COMPASS
  • You can also zoom in on the middle port hole and turn the top knob, but you need another knob to open it. You can also zoom in on the hole in the floor
  • Play the HOS in the back (yellow)

 Phantasmal Light

  • To find the bank notes and/or fork, open the money box on the left (green)
  • Rip the chair’s fabric to find the spool and/or spring (orange)
  • Complete the scene for a PUZZLE PART (yellow)
  • Back out to the water front and row to the lighthouse

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the stones, move them if you haven’t already and dig with your TROWEL
  • In the hole are two MAGNETS
  • Go up to the lighthouse, zoom in on the door, place your three COMPASSES and the MAGNETS

  • You need to move the magnets until all the compasses point to the center. The screenshot shows one possible solution. The green lights will come on when a compass is positioned correctly (not shown in image)
  • Enter the lighthouse

The Lighthouse

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the windowsill and take the BOLT
  • Zoom in on the hatch on the right and take the piece of paper, which shows that there is a cave behind the suspended ship
  • Open the hatch with the HATCH RING
  • Under the hatch is a sliding block puzzle

 Phantasmal Light

  • You need to make the colored blocks move to the places with corresponding colors. Clicking on a block will show you which ways it can move, and you can then move it by clicking on the arrows
  • First do the orange and blue blocks as shown in images A and B
  • Then do the red and yellow blocks as shown in image C
  • There is nothing else you can do here right now, so go down the stairs under the hatch to the basement
  • Play the HOS among the crates on the left

 Phantasmal Light

  • To find the leaf, open the book at the front (green)
  • Click on the burlap sack for the fan (orange)
  • Complete the scene for a STOVE HANDLE (yellow)

 Phantasmal Light

  • Pull the chain to the right (blue) to reveal a note behind the painting
  • Zoom in on the stove (green) and place the STOVE HANDLE
  • Turn the handle to switch on the stove
  • Pick up the LEVER
  • Zoom in on the puzzle lock on the back wall (orange) and place the DICE
  • To solve the puzzle, you need to place the dice around the 5 in the middle so the dots in each row and column add up to the totals shown around the edges
  • A compartment will open behind the puzzle lock. Take out the SHIP
  • Zoom in on the door and place the BOLT on the latch (yellow)
  • Slide the latch to open

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the straw on the floor and move it to get a SCOOP
  • Play the HOS in the rubble

 Phantasmal Light

  • To get the snake poison, use the glass jar on the snake (green)
  • For the glass eye, open the mouth of the fish on the left wall (orange)
  • Finish the scene to get FIRE WOOD (yellow)
  • Back out two scenes and zoom in on the fireplace

 Phantasmal Light

  • Take the note from the mantelpiece and look at the picture
  • Put the FIRE WOOD on the grate, light it with your MATCHES and then use the SCOOP to take out some COAL
  • Back out two screens and board the wrecked ship

 Phantasmal Light

  • Play the new HOS as before and get the PICK AXE

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the front of the cabin and use the COAL to get the code 7254
  • Go into the ship’s cabin and zoom in on the navigation device to the left of the wheel
  • Move the lever to the numbers 7, 2, 5 and 4. The numbers will turn green when they’re locked in

  • Some funny looking tubes will come down from the ceiling (green)
  • Zoom in on the left tube, take off the cap and take out the WINDOW LOCK
  • Go below deck and zoom in on the middle port hole (orange)
  • Place the WINDOW LOCK at the bottom and turn it. Also turn the top lock
  • Open the port hole and take the SHIP’S LOG PAGES
  • Zoom in on the new HOS

 Phantasmal Light

  • To find the blue objects, move the blue pillow (orange) and open the wall panel (green)
  • Complete the scene to get an EMPTY MUG (yellow)
  • Zoom in on the hole in the floor and fill the EMPTY MUG with water
  • Go back to the top deck, zoom in on the ship’s log, place the SHIP’S LOG PAGES to find another PUZZLE PART
  • Zoom in on the door and place the two PUZZLE PARTS

 Phantasmal Light

  • To solve the puzzle, the four outer discs need to be rotated so the colors are lined up with the ones in the middle. The quickest way to do this is to click: 2, 2, 4, 4, 4, 1
  • Go through the opened door

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the panel in front of the speaker for a classic “untangle the threads” puzzle. Move the pins around until none of the threads are crossed
  • Pick up the REMOTE CONTROL
  • You can zoom in on the radio at the top, but you can’t do anything with it right now
  • Back out two screens, row to the lighthouse and enter
  • Go down the stairs and zoom in on the stove
  • Place the MUG OF WATER on the hot ring and take the BOILING WATER
  • Zoom in on the new HOS

 Phantasmal Light

  • Open the chest for the blue items
  • Complete the scene to find a STONE EYE
  • Go through the door in the back and play the new HOS there

  • Open the chest for the blue items (green)
  • Complete the scene to receive a CORKSCREW (yellow)

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the red bricks on the left and use the PICK AXE to find a DIVING HELMET
  • Back out two screens

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the windowsill, pour the BOILING WATER in the bowl on the sill and take note of the flags on the window
  • Zoom in on the door and place the SHIP in the slot
  • Move the flags around so they match the image on the window

Behind the Lighthouse

  • Go through the door to the boardwalk

 Phantasmal Light

  • It is too dark here right now to do anything, you have to make light
  • Open the fuse box on the left – a SCREWDRIVER will fall out, so pick it up
  • You need to find a light bulb to replace the broken bulb
  • From the boardwalk go off to the right

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the fishing net hanging from the fence and take the JEWEL CHAIN
  • Go down to the two graves by the water

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the teddy bear and cut it open with your KNIFE to take a PUZZLE BLOCK (1/5) (Why do poor little stuffed animals always have to suffer?)
  • Zoom in on the pile of rocks on the right and move them aside one by one to find a SIGN KEY PART
  • Keep backing out until you’re back at the wrecked ship at the waterfront
  • Board the ship, go into the cabin and through the door to the radio room

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the radio and take out the three screws with your SCREWDRIVER
  • Take off the front panel of the radio and take the LIGHT BULB
  • Now back all the way out to the screen below the suspended ship and zoom in on the barrel

 Phantasmal Light

  • Use the CORKSCREW to take out the CORK
  • When the cork is out, gunpowder will pour out of the barrel. Use the EMPTY POWDER FLASK on the gunpowder to get a FULL POWDER FLASK
  • Go back up the stairs to the cabin on the cliff, go in and go to the attic
  • Zoom in on the table and fill the metal tube in the vice with gunpowder using the FULL POWDER FLASK
  • Put the CORK on the tube and place the WICK to get an EXPLOSIVE
  • Back out of the cabin, go down the middle path, row back to the lighthouse and go through it to the boardwalk at the back
  • Zoom in on the fuse box and replace the broken bulb with your LIGHT BULB

 Phantasmal Light

  • To solve the puzzle, you need to make connections between the bulbs. The number on each bulb shows how many connections it needs to have. Hit the switch on the right to track your progress

  • Zoom in on the door, place the EXPLOSIVE and light it with your MATCHES
  • Go into the lighthouse

 Phantasmal Light

  • Take a ROPE from the right wall
  • Zoom in on the chest and barrel on the left and pick up another PUZZLE BLOCK (2/5) and the ELECTRIC TAPE
  • Play the HOS

 Phantasmal Light

  • To get the red bull, use the red paint to paint the bull drawing on the wall
  • To get the snake, use the snake flute on the basket (green)
  • Complete the scene to get a TORCH
  • Go up the stairs

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the window and take the SPRING HOOK
  • Go further up the stairs and zoom in on the wall mount to place your TORCH. Light it with your MATCHES – a diagram is revealed on the wall
  • There is nothing else you can achieve here right now, so go back down and play the new HOS

 Phantasmal Light

  • To find the coins, move the stone in the wall with the handprint on it (green)
  • To find the other blue items open the chest (orange)
  • Complete the scene to get a BRUSH (yellow)
  • Go outside and go down the boardwalk to the pier

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the pulley mechanism and place the ROPE on the left (green)
  • Zoom in on the broken cables and fix them with the ELECTRIC TAPE (orange)
  • Zoom in on the open slot and place the REMOTE CONTROL (blue)
  • Back out to the pier and zoom in on the diving suit

 Phantasmal Light

  • Place the DIVING HELMET
  • Attach the SPRING HOOK to the end of the rope and attach the rope to the helmet
  • Zoom back in on the mechanism and hit the green button on the remote control
  • Click on the diving suit to go into the water

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the skeleton tied to the anchor and take the second SIGN KEY PART
  • Zoom in on the puzzle box in the row boat (orange)
  • To solve the puzzle you need to move all discs (there are five) from the left to the right. Discs can only be moved to empty spaces or on top of a disc that’s smaller
  • 1. Blue R – pink T – blue T – green R
    2. Blue L – pink R – blue R – brown T
    3. Blue T – pink L – blue L – green T
    4. Blue R – pink T – blue T – small blue R
    5. Blue L – pink R – blue R – green L

  • Inside the puzzle box is the LIGHTROOM KEY

The Light room

  • Back out two screens to the lighthouse door, go in and go all the way up the stairs
  • Take the note from the door
  • Zoom in on the door lock and use the LIGHTROOM KEY
  • Go up the ladder

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the telescope and take the RAG and another PUZZLE BLOCK (3/5)
  • Pull the rope
  • Zoom in on the stool on the left to find a journal with the third SIGN KEY PART
  • The base of the lighthouse lamp has a puzzle for which you will need the five puzzle blocks, but you don’t have all of them yet
  • Time to finally do something about that boat hanging from the cliff! So back all the way out to the cabin on the cliff and zoom in on the pulley from which the boat is suspended

  • Use the LEVER to unlock the wheel
  • Back out one screen and go into the cave that’s been revealed

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the stone steps and use the KNIFE to remove the loose stone
  • Pick up the JEWEL and the PUZZLE BLOCK (4/5)
  • Zoom in on the circular indentation above the giant head and place your three SIGN KEY PARTS. This activates the bridge across the water

 Phantasmal Light

  • Put the RAG in the water to get a WET RAG
  • Zoom in on the cave wall on the left and use the WET RAG to wash off the clay and reveal another strange symbol
  • Take a close look at this symbol as you will need to recreate it in a moment
  • Cross the bridge to the right and zoom in on the door
  • Place the JEWEL and the JEWEL CHAIN on the board. This can be tricky as they can’t just be placed on the board but have to be placed in the correct spot. The jewel goes in the indentation at the top and the jewel chain attaches to a particular spot on the right side
  • Now click on the jewels to move them and recreate the symbol on the wall as below
  • Go into the next cave

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the footsteps on the floor and find your last PUZZLE BLOCK (5/5) and another STONE EYE
  • Zoom in on the wall below the stone circle and take the note
  • Use the SCOOP as a lever to remove the RING
  • When you’re done exploring, back out one screen

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the giant head and place the two STONE EYES
  • A portal opens in the water, but you need to find a way to get down
  • Go back to the light room in the lighthouse: back out to the stairs, go up to the cabin, down the middle path, row to the lighthouse, go in and then out through the back door, go into the next door and all the way up the stairs to the light room
  • Zoom in on the puzzle on the lamp base and place the five PUZZLE BLOCKS

 Phantasmal Light

  • You need to arrange the puzzle blocks according to the diagram on the wall, with the blocks showing an X around the one showing just a / in the middle. Use the arrows around the edges to slide the blocks in a row or column
  • It is relatively simple to get the blocks in the configuration shown above left. However many times I tried, I always kept ending up like this or in a similar configuration along one of the other sides. So I’m going to trust you to be able to get here yourself. Once you have this configuration, move the blocks according to the arrows in the image
  • Zoom in on the opened door and use the BRUSH to clean off the cobwebs
  • Take the ROPE LADDER and read the note on the door
  • Now back out, out, out until you’re back at the cave and enter

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the top of the bridge and put the RING in the hole in the wall
  • Then hang the ROPE LADDER from it
  • Go down the portal in the water

 Phantasmal Light

  • Click on the pyramid, watch the scene and click on the pyramid again
  • For the final puzzle you have to click on the symbols around the edge in the order in which you encountered them in the game. Fortunately, that is also the order in which they appear in your journal. The lights will stay on when you click the correct symbol, but when you click a wrong one, all lights will go off and you’ll have to start again

Bonus Chapter – Collector’s Edition Only

  • On the main menu, click on “extras” and then on “play”
  • You’re hanging upside down from a rope outside a window

 Phantasmal Light

  • To swing the rope and break the window, click your left mouse button as fast as you can until the power bar at the bottom is completely charged

  • Zoom in on the glass to the left of your feet
  • Take JANE’S RIBBON from your inventory and wrap it around the shard
  • Pick up the GLASS KNIFE
  • Zoom in on your feet and cut the ropes with the GLASS KNIFE
  • Move to the right

  • Zoom in on the window frame and use the GLASS KNIFE to undo the latch
  • Exit to the staircase
  • You can zoom in on some of the stairs by the corner of the banister but you can’t do anything right now

  • Move the ladder to the window on the right and zoom in on the window
  • Find a CUBE (1/4)
  • You can inspect the barrel in the back and the chest to the left, but you can’t do anything yet
  • On the wall above the chest is a clue you need for later: if you find a gong, you need to hit it 2x long, 3x short
  • Play the HOS in the fish net

  • To get the heart, use the chalk to complete the heart on the wall (green)
  • For Halloween you need to make a jack-o-lantern from the pumpkin with the knife (orange)
  • Complete the scene to get a CROWBAR (yellow)
  • Go up the stairs twice and take the BURNING TORCH that Jane placed earlier
  • Go up the ladder to the light room

 Phantasmal Light

  • Move the telescope and look through it
  • Zoom in on the chair with the shirt and take the MATCH and the EMPTY CANISTER
  • Take note of the positions of the chess pieces on the board: B2, C4, E1
  • By the stool on the left is a broken boat motor
  • Take the second CUBE (2/4) and the TAP
  • Go back down twice to the middle of the stairs

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the corner of the banister and use the CROWBAR to pull out the two nails on the middle board
  • Move the board and take the third CUBE (3/4) and the HOSE
  • Go downstairs

  • Zoom in on the chest with the barrel on it
  • Place the TAP and the EMPTY CANISTER and attach the HOSE to the tap
  • Turn on the tap and then pick up the canister to get FUEL
  • When you’re done with the fuel, use the CROWBAR on the back of the chest to reveal a hidden passage!
  • Enter the passage

 Phantasmal Light

  • Place the BURNING TORCH in the bracket on the left and light your MATCH with it to get a BURNING MATCH
  • Light the two candles with your BURNING MATCH (orange)
  • Zoom in on the stove and pick up the NEEDLE AND THREAD (green)
  • Zoom in on the old bed and take the PATCH off the cushion (blue)
  • Move the two cushions to find a SCREWDRIVER and a note
  • Move the curtain on the left and go down the passage

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the safe with the puzzle lock on the right wall
  • You need to complete the image as shown on the left by dragging and dropping the rows or columns. Give it a try yourself, but if you’re really stuck, back out of the puzzle to reset it and then do the following steps:
    1. Move column 2 down 1
    2. Move column 4 up 1
    3. Move row 3 left 1
    4. Move column 4 up 1
    5. Move row 2 left 2
  • Zoom in on the opened safe and take the note and the last CUBE (4/4)
  • Zoom in on the burlap sack on the left
  • Place the PATCH and sew it on with the NEEDLE AND THREAD
  • Take the EMPTY SACK
  • When you walk towards the door in the back you will be told it is booby-trapped
  • There is a stone marked with X on the floor (orange) – you need to find something with the weight of a human to spring the trap
  • Back out twice and go up the stairs twice

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the protruding BRICK in the right wall and use the CROWBAR to take it out. Underneath is a puzzle
  • Place the CUBES. You need to rotate them to make the code B2, C4, E1, as on the chess board. Note that the cubes can be rotated both horizontally and vertically, so you need to make sure that the numbers and letters are the right way up, too
  • When you’re done, take the SKULL KEY. Also read the note on the right
  • Go back to the ground floor and zoom in on the barrels in the back

 Phantasmal Light

  • Place the EMPTY SACK, CANNON BALL and BRICK on the ground, then move the two bricks and the cannon ball into the sack to get a HEAVY SACK
  • Go back into the passage behind the chest and then go left again to the booby-trapped gate

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the stone on the floor and place the HEAVY SACK to spring the trap
  • Now you can safely walk to the gate
  • Click on the lock to open it, then unlock it with the SKULL KEY
  • Go through the gate and watch the scene
  • Play the HOS on the right

  • To get the camera, click on the tripod on the left (green)
  • For more blue objects open the case on the left (orange)
  • Finish the scene to get a FUNNEL (yellow)
  • Back out to the ground floor of the lighthouse and play the new HOS there

  • To find the cat, open the barrel (green)
  • For more blue objects open the box on the left (orange)
  • Complete the scene to get the GONG (yellow)
  • Go back into the passage and down to the broken bridge

  • Play the new HOS
  • For the arrow, place the bananas on the scales and take the dial (green)
  • For the MALLET, open the case on the left (yellow)

  • Zoom in on the bar on the left and place the GONG. Also pick up the note
  • Remember the code on the wall? Hit the gong with your MALLET twice in the middle for the long notes (yellow X) and then three times on the edge for the short notes (green X)
  • Cross the bridge and go through to the next cave

  • Pick up the stick and then use it on the lighthouse keeper
  • Click as fast as you can until the power bar is completely charged
  • After the scene, climb up the ladder and then back out of the cave to the stairs
  • Play the new HOS there

  • To get the hummingbird, open the flower in the top left (orange)
  • Annoyingly, this HOS doesn’t list the actual item you need to find, but the hint button will show you. Take the ANCHOR (yellow)
  • Back out one more screen to where the barrel with gunpowder was and then go right to the boat

SLPL 102

  • Talk to Jane, watch the dialog and click on her again to take the ENGINE CORD
  • Zoom in on the front and place the ANCHOR
  • Back out, go up the stairs and play the HOS again

 Phantasmal Light

  • This time you need to find a PROPELLER SCREW (yellow), which is also not listed
  • Use the charcoal to complete the sketch (orange)
  • For the rake, open the barrel (green)
  • Go back to the light room through the cave: into the cave and down the portal, back out to the lighthouse and then all the way up the stairs

 Phantasmal Light

  • Zoom in on the boat engine on the left
  • Place the PROPELLER SCREW on the right (yellow)
  • Click on the left side and take off the lid with your SCREWDRIVER
  • Take off the fuel cap, place the FUNNEL and pour in your FUEL
  • Place the ENGINE CORD
  • Take the BOAT ENGINE
  • Go downstairs and through the tunnels
  • Click on the rock that appears at the front for your final puzzle. There are two solutions you can choose: choose the Y formation for a “good” ending and the N formation for an “evil” ending. It’s a bit ridiculous for me to post a detailed solution for this, just have a go at it yourself!
  • Finally, go up the rope ladder, back out twice and go right to the boat
  • Zoom in on the back and place the BOAT ENGINE
  • Watch your chosen ending
