Download the LEGO Harry Potter demo now!

In anticipation of the Nov. 11 launch of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, Warner Bros. has released a downloadable demo for PC (sorry Mac users) that lets you play through one of the game’s levels. You can download the 500MB demo, which runs on Windows XP, Vista, and 7, from LEGO.com.

In celebration of Halloween, the makers of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 which launches Nov. 11 for PC and videogame consoles have released a brand new videofeaturing Lord Voldemort. Check it out, along with some new screenshots, behind the cut.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7transports players through the final three books and final four films to experience the ultimate fight of good vs. evil. The game will launch on PC as well as the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii consoles, and the Nintendo DS and 3DS, and PlayStation Portable handheld systems.

LEGO Harry Potter series wraps up with Years 5-7

We knew it was coming, but now it’s official: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, the follow-up to LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, will be available in time for the holidays for PC and various video game consoles. The game will wrap up the adventures of the boy wizard, covering the events of the last three Harry Potter books and the final four films – LEGO style.

From Privet Drive in Little Whinging to Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade and Hogwarts – plus new locations including Grimmauld Place, the Ministry of Magic, and Godric’s Hollow – players will encounter new faces, new challenges and new magic, preparing them for the ultimate face-off against Lord Voldemort.

Past games in the successful LEGO franchise include LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Batman, LEGO Indiana Jones and, most recently, LEGO: Pirates of the Caribbean.
