Dog Show Friends has more cute pups than you can shake a bone at

Games like Touch Pets Dogs and Nintendogs are popular for a reason: dogs are inherently lovable. So it should come as no surprise that 4mm Games decided to bring a similar experience to Facebook in the form of Dog Show Friends. We’ve spent some time with the game and it’s shaping up to be just the thing for social network dwelling dog lovers.

To start you’ll get to pick a puppy, first selecting from a pretty large selection of breeds, before picking a specific puppy within that breed. There are both male and female pups, and even different personality traits for each dog. We went with an adorable little pug who, at least according to the description, is clean. So far he’s lived up to that.

From there it’s all about taking care of your new best friend. You can teach it tricks, but this will both decrease its hapiness and consume its energy. But you can cheer it back up by playing with it or giving it a good old fashioned petting. You’ll also need to keep the dog fed, clean, and provide pretty much everything else that a dog needs. And if it runs out of energy it’ll have to take a little puppy nap. Meanwhile, your dog’s house is customizable, and it looks like there’s quite a bit of variety in terms of furniture and decorations.

Dog Show Friends is also a very good looking game with strong production values. The visuals are clean and colorful, and the dogs look so cute you just wish they were real. There’s even some voice acting from none other than John O’Hurley, best known as J. Peterman from Seinfeld.

Though we’ve only spent a little bit of time with it so far, Dog Show Friends certainly looks ike a quality game that will have dog lovers drooling in anticipation. Stay tuned to Gamezebo for our full review in the near future, and be sure to check out some screenshots below.
