Revo Solutions, the developers behind the popular air combat games F.A.S.T. and Skies of Glory, are looking to bring the war all the way to the ground. Publishing in conjunction with BulkyPix, Revo’s upcoming Artillery Brigade will put players behind the gunner’s sights as they fight off wave after wave of invader from land, sea and air.

Set during World War II, players will mount a stationary gun as they attempt to suppress enemy forces across six different environments. The developers are promising a mix of both day and night missions, as well as varying numbers of troops and patterns of attack that should help keep gamers on their toes. In addition, endless survival modes will be unlocked for each mission once completed.

Players will operate three different classes of weapons; machine guns, anti-aircraft guns, and rocket launchers. Different weapons can be unlocked for each class, and considering the variety of enemies you’ll be defending against, having access to different weapons will no doubt come in handy. Expect to take aim on planes, soldiers, and even tanks.

Artillery Brigade will offer up 360 degree range of motion that takes full advantage of the iPhone 4’s gyroscope. Players who aren’t in possession of Apple’s latest device can still have a similar experience courtesy of the accelerometer, or they can simply opt to rely entirely on the touch screen for movement.

Bulkypix has confirmed that they’re targeting a mid-November launch, so expect to see Artillery Brigade arrive on the App Store real soon.
