General Tips

– The S.O.S. button in the bottom right corner of your screen is your hint. As you play through the game, you can collect purple butterflies to earn extra hints. If you run out of hints, the button will automatically recharge after 60 seconds.

– To the right of the hint button is the notebook, which records all the messages you’ve seen.

– The right-most button is the magnifying glass, which does exactly that: it gives you a magnifying glass so you can zoom in on the scenes to get a better view.

– This guide will help you to progress through the game; however, there are many more things to see and explore on the side. If you want to learn more about the details of the story, look around in the main scenes, or take a different path at the end of each chapter and see what happens.

– If you’re having trouble solving a mini-game, you can wait for the skip button to fill up, and skip the mini-game.

– Sometimes, an item might be located in a different part of the scene than shown in this walkthrough. If this really gives you trouble, you can always use a hint.

– For the first few chapters, all items will be circled in the locations as we have found them in our playthrough, to help you get started. Key items, which should always be in the same location in a scene, are circled in a different color.

– In the latter chapters, only the key items will be circled.

– Butterflies hidden in the hidden object scenes will be circled in a different color than the listed items.

Chapter 1: Home

– This mini-game is fairly simple. Move the sliding bars to show the 4 numbers of the code visible on the paper. Slide the bar that does not have on of those 4 numbers left and right, until the knob starts glowing purple. Click on the knob to open the safe.

– Use the gears on the safe to trigger another mini-game. Place the gears in the correct position to reach the key and then click on the key to open the lock.

– Look in the CD trays of all the computers to find the Administrator CD.

– Click on the map, and then press the print button.

– Take the map from the printer.

– The game is a mix of the classic games rock, paper, scissors and memory. When you start, you will shortly see the hands before they are hidden under question marks. Remember which hand is where and select a hand for you and one for the computer so that you win.

– For those who don’t know the rules of rock, paper, scissors, here they are in short:

— A closed hand is rock, an open hand is paper, and two fingers out is scissors.

— Rock beats scissors, scissors beat paper, paper beats rock.

– After winning the game, you will get a phone number.

– Return to the tunnel and talk to the robed guy.

– Check the phone booth and go back out.

– Use the knife to cut down the sacks in the tunnel, go outside, and go right.

– Pick up the sack on the left edge of the fountain and go left again to the terminal location.

– Use the knife to cut down the sack.

– Click on the game machine and follow the sequence of the blue lights.

– After winning the game, take the sack of weights from the front of the machine.

– Click on the garbage to play another hidden object scene.

– Take the cat.

– Walk out the tunnel and turn right.

– Use the pass on the card reader to the left of the gate and pass through the gates.

Chapter 13: Chessmaster

– Talk to the man sitting at the table: The Chessmaster.

– Click on the floating cube with the exclamation mark to start a hidden object scene.
