Time is running out for Marine and the gang in Millennium 3: Cry Wolf

With Millenium 3 Aldorlea Games will pass the halfway point of its sprawling Millennium series; one that began with Millennium: A New Hope and Millennium 2: Take Me Higher and is planned to span five games in total when all is said and done. As a follow-up to our interview with Aldorlea head honcho Alan Pendragon, the studio sent us more details about Millennium 3: Cry Wolf for a preview – including a sneak peek at one of the new characters.

 Cry Wolf

As the game begins, the deadline is approaching for Marine (the game’s heroine) to gather her team of 13 warriors to challenge the despotic rulers of Mystrock. As the plot unfolds, the question becomes whether Marine will be able to find the remaining warriors in time.

 Cry Wolf

Millennium 3 carries over the welcome Autosave feature and mouse controls from Millennium 2, and like the second game players can import their previous save files. Players will be able to keep track of quests in an ongoing Questbook.

The game will also offer four different modes of difficulty to accommodate different playing styles, and will offer players a choice of whether they want enemy encounters to be visible (you can see them coming) or invisible (more spontaneous and random-seeming).

There will be 40 quests, 8 new Animal Kings, 40 secret rooms, and 6 guilds to trade points with, including the Guild of Souls in the new dreaded Forbidden Land. Four new characters have been added as well for more than 10 total. One of the new characters is the mermaid Salomé, whose concept art you can see in the image below:
