Although Namco is traditionally known for its classic arcade and console videogames, the company has really been hitting its casual games stride lately with PC downloads like Mishap: An Accidental Haunting, The Otherside: Realm of Eons and Everything Nice. Now those two worlds are about to collide with the upcoming time management game PAC-MAN Pizza Parlor.
The premise sounds fairly typical of time management games. The main character, Cathy, is a young woman struggling to run the family pizza parlor after her father loses his memory. Fortunately for Cathy, PAC-MAN is on the job to lend a helping hand! (Why is PAC-MAN hanging around a pizza joint? Who knows. Just run with it – we did.)
Players get to help PAC-MAN and Cathy serve hungry customers by guiding PAC-MAN around a conveyor belt to collect ingredients for Cathy to use to create each customer’s order. According to the details Namco has already released, the game will span 80 stages with dozens of unlockables and equipment upgrades, and will also feature an Expert mode for those looking for a little extra challenge.
PAC-MAN Pizza Parlor will be launching very soon, so be sure to check back to Gamezebo and we’ll let you know the instant that the game comes out.
