In this Hidden Object/adventure game, Nelly must search through 6 magic paintings in a mysterious castle to find her missing brother.

This guide is divided into sections:

General Tips
The Magic Tower
The Sea Coast
The Cursed Ship
The Knight in the Castle
Vampire Wood
The Hall

GENERAL TIPS (no spoilers)

  • To exit the game, click on the painting on the chair in the lower left.

  • When you complete one painting, the next one will appear. The one you just finished will be grayed out with a checkmark.
  • The game offers two modes: Casual and Advanced. You must choose one when you start a new game. In Casual mode, the hint meter recharges more often, and if you take a long time to click, you will see sparkles on some important object in the scene.
  • Each scene in a painting has a title bar at the top that will tell you where you are.
  • The ingame hint system relies heavily on the cursor and on dialogue from Nelly herself. If you’re not sure what to do next, click on any object you have questions about and Nelly may make a comment that will give you a hint.
  • Look for these cursor symbols:
  • 1. Cursor turns to hand: you can pick something up
  • 2. Cursor turns to magnifying glass: you can look more closely here
  • 3. Cursor turns to a face: you can talk to this character by clicking on them.
  • 4. Gears: You can use an inventory item here
  • 5. Footprints: you can exit the scene here
  • 6. Puzzle piece: click here to open a mini-game
  • Click several times on a person to get more information. If they start to repeat themselves, you’re done.
  • Check the task list in the lower right of the screen for clues about what to do next.
  • You can go back and forth between scenes in one painting as often as you like.
  • There is no list of objects to find in this game. Instead, when you click on a “key item” in a scene, you will see 5 or 6 bubbles pop up that have black and white sketches of the items you need to find in order to use the key object. When you find one of these items, click on it, then click on the bubble it matches.
  • Bubble items you have already found will have a colored background.
  • Once you have gathered all the bubble items, you will either be able to collect the key item, or something in the scene will change and you may see something that was behind the key item. Or something may change somewhere else in the scene, like a hidden door opening. If you’re not sure what to do after collecting all the bubble items, try clicking the key item one more time.
  • To use items in your inventory, first click on the item you want to use. Then move the cursor so you can see the name of the object in the scene where you want to use the inventory item. Then click again to use it.
  • Most objects are the correct size and color and appropriate to the scene.
  • Sometimes when you use an inventory item the result will appear slightly off to the side of the original, so you may need to look around a little for it. For example, if you have an empty cup in inventory and you put it on a water bucket, you may end up with a full cup of water on a table standing next to the bucket.
  • Be on the lookout for tools like hammers, wrenches, etc—you may need to come back for them later.
  • There is no penalty for wrong clicks.
  • Any mini-game can be skipped by clicking the SKIP button.
  • The game automatically saves when you exit.

The Magic Tower Dungeon

  • Notice that the Essence you need is suspended by a rope.
  • Go back upstairs.

Inside the Magic Tower

  • Take the knife off the table.

  • Go downstairs.

The Magic Tower Dungeon

  • Use the knife to cut the rope.

  • Uh oh! The dragon woke up!
  • Select the violin. Collect its bubble items. You will have to click on the carpet hanging on the wall to move it out of the way, open a drawer, and look in a small chest.

  • The dragon is asleep again, but now you need a key to open the cage. Click on the bookshelf to play a mini-game.

  • This is a sequencing game. Here is the solution:

  • Use the key to open the cage.

  • When you try to pick up the Essence, you will find you need a few more items.

  • Combine the items, and now you can pick up the conversion potion.

  • Go back upstairs.

Inside the Magic Tower

  • Give the potion to the Genie.

  • This completes the Magic Tower painting.

Enchanted Canvas 2: THE SEA COAST

  • First task is to fix the bell. Collect the bubble items, then click on the bell to ring it.

  • An old fisherman will appear. Talk to him. He will ask you to get his bag. Click on the bag, and you will find it needs bubble items.

  • Give the bag to the fisherman. He will give you a small key which will go into your inventory.
  • Click on the ladder on the right to see its bubble items. Collect them to repair the ladder.
  • Now you can open the lock which is up on the hut roof. Click on the key in inventory, then click on the lock.

  • A barrel will break, and you will find a boathook. Use it to open the boarded up entrance to the hut.

Inside the Fisherman’s Hut

  • You are looking around for an axe, but it is next to some hornets. Click and you will see the bubble items you need to get rid of the hornets. One of the items is upstairs in the garret. After you get all the bubble items, you will be able to pick up the axe.

  • Uh oh, the door closed! Click on the fireplace to see its bubble items.

  • You have the fireplace all ready, but now you need to find some matches. Click on the cloth on the wall on the rightside, and you will see a place with a mini-puzzle.

  • In this puzzle, you need to embroider the right colors on the lighthouse picture. It’s easier than it looks though, because if you just touch a needle to one spot on a lighthouse, all the other spots that are that same color on that lighthouse will also fill in. So you just need to use each color once on each lighthouse.

  • If you make a mistake, use the “threadpicker” tool on the left of the thread exactly the same way you used the needle.

  • The only tricky one is that the sky is gray, not blue.

  • Once you have all the colors right, you will get another key. Use it on the chest on the right and you can pick up the matches.

  • Click on the matches in inventory, then click on the fireplace. The fire will start and the door will open. Now you can exit, since all you needed was the axe.

The Sea Coast

  • Now we need to repair the bridge to get to the lighthouse. Click on the axe in inventory, then click on the trees on the right. You will get a stack of logs.

  • Click on the logs, then click on the broken bridge and it will be repaired. Now you can go into the lighthouse!

Inside the Lighthouse

  • We’ll need to get up the stairs in order to check out the light, but the stairs are broken. Start by clicking on the rope up in the rafters. You’ll need a stepladder to get to it, so collect the bubble items for the rope.

  • Click on the plank in the scene and you’ll see that the rope is a bubble item for the plank. Click on the rope since you can reach it now.

  • So far, so good! Click on the broken stairs to see what to do next. You’ll see some bubble items, so look around for those. After you find them, click again and you’ll find you need to get a hammer to finish the repairs. Go back to the fisherman’s hut, there might be one there.

Inside the Fisherman’s Hut

  • Looks like we forgot to open the flue, and everything got smoky! Click on the flue at the top to see the bubble items you need to fix it.You will have to click on the flue once or twice to open it.

  • Now we can see again! No hammer in sight, but there’s a trapdoor on the left. Click on it to see the bubble items you need to open it. Once it’s open, take the hammer, then go back to the lighthouse.

Inside the Lighthouse

  • Use the hammer to finish repairing the stairs.

  • Now what? I guess the first thing to do is to fix the broken machine, too. But we’re missing a lever. Look for a door in the ceiling at the top of the stairs and you can go up to the roof.

Top of the Lighthouse

  • You need 5 bolts for the lever. Collect everything, then go back down.

Inside the Lighthouse

  • Put the lever on the machine, then click it one more time to pull it.

  • Now you have to do a gears mini-game. Here is the solution.

  • Go back to the top of the lighthouse.

Top of the Lighthouse

  • OK, the lamp opened but it needs fire. Taken the censer from the left and go back to the fisherman’s hut to light it.

Inside the Fisherman’s Hut

  • Click on the censer in inventory then click on the fireplace. It will reappear hanging on the leftside of the fireplace. Pick it up and go back to the top of the lighthouse.

Top of the Lighthouse

  • Light the lamp. Go back down to the sea coast.

Sea Coast

  • You will see a ghostly ship. Click on it, and the lost fisherman will appear. Talk to him. Another happy ending! That will end this chapter.

Enchanted  Canvas 3: THE CURSED SHIP

On the Ship

  • Talk to the captain. He will show you the bubble items he needs.
  • Collect the items. You will have to click on the hold to find the telescope. Then go down into the vortex! Gulp!

The Ship Cemetary (Ocean Floor)

  • Look at the glowing seashell on the left. You need a knife to open it.
  • Look in the barrel. There is a knife, but it’s rusty. You’ll need to go back up to the ship to sharpen it.

On the Ship

  • Look in the wooden box. You will find a whetstone and can sharpen the knife. Go back down to the Ship Cemetary.

The Ship Cemetery

  • Use the knife on the shell. A crystal lens will pop out and go into your inventory.
  • Next to the shell, a piece of a stone column will fall off. There is a mini-game here. Click on it to play it.

  • At first I thought this was some kind of peg jumping puzzle, but it’s just a trial and error sequence. You just need to keep putting different pegs in until you have them all lit up. You can move one after it’s in. There are many different solutions.
  • Once you finish the game, the way to the temple will be cleared.

The Storm Temple Gates

  • Click on the two statues on the sides of the temple. Each has its own bubble items. The one on the left is armor and the one on the right is weapons.
  • Once you have collected all the items for the one on the left, that statue will move, revealing the last bubble item for the statue on the right.

  • Now two more statues will appear a bit closer to the temple doors. Click on each. The one on the left needs masks and the one on the right needs crystals. You will have to look inside the jug for one of the items.

  • Once all the items are collected, a mini-game will be available on the temple door. This is a regular jumble slider.

  • Once you complete the puzzle, you can go inside the temple.

Inside the Storm Temple

  • First, you have to open the white box on the right and get the frame for the crystal from the shell.
  • Put the crystal in the frame. For the rest of this section you will be looking through the lens as you move your cursor.
  • Now you are going to look for 3 sets of symbols that can only be seen by looking through the lens. See the screenshots:

  • The Sea Spirit will appear. He wants his medallion. Go back up to the ship to talk to the Captain.

On the Ship

  • The Captain is happy to give back the medallion, but he’s not sure where it is.
  • Check the chest—you need a key.
  • Check the box—you need a crowbar.
  • Didn’t you see a crowbar down on the ocean floor? Go back down and check.

The Ship Cemetery

  • Find the crowbar in front of the eel. Then back up to the ship.

On the Ship

  • Use the crowbar on the box.
  • Use the key on the chest.

  • No medallion, just some fish repellant powder.
  • The Captain tells you to check underwater for more chests.

The Ship Cemetery

  • There’s a chest behind the eel! Use the fish powder on the eel, then take the chest.

  • The eel left and you can get to the chest, but it’s too heavy to swim with. You’ll need to get some buoys to float it to the surface.
  • Click on the chest and you’ll see a set of bubble items. Collect them.

  • Still not enough. You might remember seeing a buoy by the temple. Go back there now and look.

The Storm Temple Gates

  • There’s a buoy on the left of the temple.

  • You need a rope to move it, though. Go back up to the ship.

On the Ship

  • Click on the hold just behind the Captain where you found the telescope and you’ll see some rope. Take it. Back down to the temple.

The Storm Temple Gates

  • Attach the rope to the buoy. It will fall down in front of the steps. Looks like it needs air.

  • Take the buoy and drag it back to the Ship Cemetary where you left the chest.

The Ship Cemetery

  • There’s a weak stream of bubbles on the left, but something’s blocking it.
  • Notice the heavy stone. You need a tool to move it.
  • Back up to the ship.

On the Ship

  • Take the spade that’s on the right. Back down through the vortex.

The Ship Cemetery

  • Click on the spade in inventory, then on the stone. The stone will move and the flow of air will be stronger.
  • Click on the buoy in inventory, then on the air bubbles. It will fill with air.
  • Attach the buoy to the chest. It will rise to the top.
  • Go back up to the ship.

On the Ship

  • The Captain brought the chest on board. Click on it to play a mini-game. This is another sequence game.

  • When you finish the game, you will be able to look in the chest and see the medallion. Take it, and go back into the temple to give it to the Sea Spirit.

Inside the Storm Temple

  • Click on the medallion in inventory and click on the Sea Spirit.
  • A potion will appear to the left of the Sea Spirit. Take it, and go back to the ship to give it to the Captain.

On the Ship

  • Give the potion to the Captain to break the curse! This is the end of this chapter.

Enchanted Canvas 4: THE KNIGHT IN THE CASTLE

Castle Hall

  • Click on the “strange stained glass” to bring up a mini-game.

  • This is just a rotation puzzle. There are many ways to solve it. Once you have the complete picture lined up, just click on the outer ring to rotate the whole thing into position.

  • A ghostly Knight will appear. Talk to the Knight, then click on the Book of Spells.

  • Look at the Bewitched Door on the right of the hall. It has 4 combo runes on it. You will need to create each of those runes by using the Book of Spells to find the individual runes that make it up.
  • Look at the Book of Spells. It shows the 4 runes you need for the first combo rune. Look around the room until you find them. Sometimes the runes are on one of the many scrolls around the hall. Click on a scroll to open it and see what runes it has.
  • Here are the locations of the first 4 Runes:

  • As soon as you have all 4, they will combine in inventory to make a combo rune. Click on the combo rune in inventory, then click on the Bewitched Door.

  • The Book of Spells will turn its own pages and show you the next 4 runes you need to collect. Continue until you have created all 4 combo runes needed to open the Bewitched  Door. Then go through the Bewitched Door into the Castle Yard.

The Castle Yard

  • You can see the sword handle in the center of the yard, but like lighting the lighthouse, it’s going to take you awhile to actually get to it. If you can lower the level of water running through the center of the yard, the little drawbridge will come down, and you will be able to get to the handle. So your next few tasks will be all about getting this water to flow out through the waterfall on the other side.
  • First try going out the door to the waterfall. It will show you the bubble items you need. A couple of them are hidden around the yard. You will have to click on all 3 “secret places” to get access to the Chalice.

The Waterfall

  • There is a lot going on back here. It helps to remember your goal. You want to get the waterfall flowing full again so the water level in the yard will go down and you will be able to get across the drawbridge to the sword handle.
  • In order to get the water flowing, you need to be able to turn the brown wooden wheels on both sides of this location. However, right now the access to the left side is blocked.
  • Click on the girl statue on the far right. She tells you she likes flowers.
  • Try to turn the wooden wheel on the right. It will turn.
  • Click on the access lever to go across to the left. It’s broken. You’ll see bubble items for what you need to fix it.
  • You will have to turn on the lantern to find one of the bubble items.
  • You still need one more weight to fix the access bridge. Go back to the Castle Yard to find flowers.

The Castle Yard

  • You see flowers, but they’re wilted. You need to water them.
  • Click on the chest on the right. It’s locked, but you will see the bubble items you need to open it.

  • After you get all the bubble items, you can take the bucket out of the chest.
  • Now click on the water barrel on the right. You will see the bubble items you need to get access to it.

  • Once you’ve got access to the barrel, click on the bucket in inventory. Then click on the barrel. Now you can pick up the full bucket. Click on the bucket, then on the plants to water them. Pick some flowers and go back through the door to the waterfall.

The Waterfall

  • Click on the flowers in inventory and click on the girl statue to give them to her.

  • She will give you the last weight you need to fix the access bridge. Finally you can get across to the left side!
  • Turn the lefthand wooden wheel. It falls off, because it wasn’t mounted on the spindle.
  • Click on the wheel mount to the left of the wheel. It needs to be fixed before you can put the wheel back up.

  • Once you have collected all the bubble items for the wheel mount, click on it one more time to put it into inventory.
  • Now click on the wheel mount in inventory and on the wooden wheel, and it will go back into place.

  • Now you will see a rusty door, but it won’t open. Take the key from above the door. It doesn’t fit. Go back to the castle yard to see what you can find.

The Castle Yard

  • You need oil to get through the rusty door. Look around. The key you just found fits the little gate on the right side of the yard. Open the gate, then go down the steps to the Monk’s Cell.

The Monk’s Cell

  • Talk to the monk. He is glad you found the gate key. He says you can look around for some oil.
  • Click on the closed door and you will see the bubble items you need to open it. You will need to turn on the light over the door to find everything.

  • Take the oil and go all the way back to the waterfall to try the rusty door again.

The Waterfall

  • Apply the oil to the rusty door, then click it to start a pipes mini-game. Maybe now we can finally get some water flowing!

  • Note that in this mini-game you must first connect all the pipes, then click on the small metal wheel in the lower right to open the valve. Solution here:

  • Once you have done this, you will finally be able to turn the wooden wheel on the left of the waterflow. Do that, then go back to the castle yard.

The Castle Yard

  • Now you need to do 3 things: turn the wooden wheel on this side to let the water out, get the sword handle, and return to the Castle Hall to give the sword handle to the Knight.

  • However, before you can get to the sword handle, you’ll have to do another mini-game. Here’s the solution:

  • Now go in the Castle Hall.

Castle Hall

  • Give the sword handle to the Knight. He tells you he still needs a monk’s blessing. Go back to the Castle Yard to talk to the monk.

Castle Yard

  • Talk to the monk. He will help you if you can repair his fresco. Click on it, then do the jigsaw puzzle. It’s easier than it looks because the pieces do not rotate.

  • Now go to the monk’s cell to look for ink and a quill.

Monk’s Cell

  • Click on the desk to see what bubble items you need.
  • You can find almost everything, but one of the items is hidden in the stone wall. You’ll have to go back to the Castle Yard to get a pickaxe.

Castle Yard

  • Get the pickaxe, then back to the monk’s cell.

Monk’s Cell

  • Use the pickaxe on the stone above the doorway to get the last bubble item for the desk. Click on the desk to get the ink.

  • We’re not done yet, though! Click on the runestone for a message, then head back to the waterfall to find the second star crystal.

The Waterfall

  • Click on the star crystal to find out more about it, but you’ll have to get a ladder to get it down. Back to the monk’s cell!

The Monk’s Cell

  • There is a ladder, but it’s stuck behind some overgrown branches. You will be able to find an axe that looks like a crack in the wall. Use the axe on the branches, then pick up the ladder and put it in inventory.

  • Back to the waterfall!

The Waterfall

  • Click on the ladder, then on the star crystal. Take the star crystal.
  • Back to the monk’s cell!
  • Note to self: invent collapsible pocket ladder for use on adventures!

The Monk’s Cell

  • Click on the star crystal in inventory, then the runestone.

  • The runestone will move, and you will see a box behind it.
  • Take the quill out of the box and go back to the Castle Yard.

The Castle Yard

  • Give the ink to the monk.
  • A scroll will appear on the chair to the left of the fresco.
  • Take the scroll and go back into the Castle Hall.

The Castle Hall

  • Give the scroll to the Knight. Another happy ending! This ends this chapter.

Enchanteed Canvas 5: VAMPIRE WOOD

  • Note that in this painting, sometimes it’s day and sometimes it’s night. Look at the title bar at the top of each scene to tell. You can tell outside anyway, but once you’re inside the title will help. Some items/characters will be available only during the day, some only at night.

Vampire Wood: Day

  • Talk to the girl. She is thirsty. Go into the church.

Inside the Church: Day

  • Take the cup. Use it on the bucket of water and you will get a full cup of water.
  • Go back outside. The exit is at the bottom center of the screen.

Vampire Wood: Day

  • Click on the cup in inventory, then click on the girl to give it to her.
  • Talk to her. She is hungry. Head up the road to the castle.

Vampire Castle: Day

  • Look around. Notice the snake on the floor—he will be important later. Also notice the weird movement in the paintings.
  • Take the turkey from the table. Go back to the wood.

Vampire Wood: Day

  • Give the turkey to the girl. Talk to her.
  • You agree to help her stop being a werewolf. Which means you have to talk to a vampire!
  • First you need an amulet for protection from the vampire. Go into the church.

Inside the Church: Day

  • Click on the table. You will see bubble items for garlic pieces.
  • Click on the cross lock on the lower left. One of the garlic pieces is hidden there, so you need to get all its bubble items, too. But one of the bubble items you need for the cross lock is hidden behind one of the bubble items for the table, so you really need to do both at once.

  • After you get all the items for the cross lock, click on it to find the last garlic piece.
  • Now you need to bless the garlic necklace with holy water.
  • Fill the scoop with water from the barrel.
  • Click on the filled scoop and click on the cross. This will bless the water turning it into holy water.
  • Click on the filled scoop and click on the garlic necklace. This will complete the amulet.

  • Take the amulet and go back outside.

Vampire Wood: Day, then Night

  • Talk to the girl.
  • Click on the bushes. They will move, revealing the time medallion.
  • Pick up the time medallion.
  • Put the medallion in the space in the rock to the right of the girl.
  • Click the medallion to change day to night.
  • Go up the road to the Vampire Castle.

  • From now on anytime you want to change from day to night, just go back to the wood and click on the medallion.

Vampire Castle: Night

  • Talk to the vampire.
  • Click on the gramophone to start it.
  • Talk to the vampire some more. He wants you to get rid of the spirit from the paintings, but you will have to come back during the day.

  • Exit the castle through the door on the left to go back to the wood.

Vampire Wood: Night, then Day

  • Click on the time medallion to change from night to day.
  • Go back to the Vampire Castle.

Vampire Castle: Day

  • The snake is back, and so is the spirit.
  • The spirit is going to jump from painting to painting. Each time he does, click on the painting to see what bubble items you need to pacify him. You will have to do this three times total.

  • Now we need it to be night again to talk to the vampire.

Vampire Wood: Day, then Night

  • Use the medallion again and then return to the castle.

Vampire Castle: Night

  • Talk to the vampire. He wants you to get some books from the church.

Vampire Wood: Night, then Day

  • Change back to Day. Go inside the church.

Inside the Church: Day

  • Take the lens from the top of the bookcase.
  • Touch the lens to any candle in the room.
  • Now your cursor is the Hell’s Eye lens.

  • Look around the room. You want to collect any book that looks red when seen through the Hell’s Eye lens. It doesn’t matter what color it is without the lens.

  • When you have all the books, go back outside.

Vampire Wood: Day, then Night

  • Use the medallion to change day to night, then head back to the Vampire Castle.

Vampire Castle: Night

  • Give the red books to the vampire.
  • Now he wants you to go down into the crypt and get a relic, a bat on a claw.

  • Try the crypt door—you will have to solve a mini-game. Here is the solution.

Vampire Crypt: Night

  • Start by checking out the coffin in the center. You will need to collect bubble items for it.

  • To get the last bubble item for the coffin, you will have to collect the bubble items for the old coffins in the upper right, then look inside.

  • Inside the coffin you will find the first part of the relic, the bat. Put it in inventory.
  • Now the stands for 6 skulls will appear. It seems like this is how you get the second part of the relic.
  • Take the first skull out of the coffin.

  • You will see another skull on the floor. Click on it—it needs a bubble item. Find that, then put this skull on its stand.

  • Collect 3 more skulls from around the room.
  • Click on the hole in the wall—it wants more bubble items. The pickaxe is in front of the room. Where’s the bottle?

  • You still can’t get into the hole in the wall. Go ahead and put the 4 skulls you have in inventory onto their stands.  Oh, and notice the spider who keeps going up and down.

  • Now you can see the bottle at the back left of the scene. Take it, then look in the hole in the wall for the last skull. Put it on its stand.

  • All that and we still didn’t find the second piece of the relic! Back to the vampire.

Vampire Hall: Night

  • Give the bat to the vampire. He’s mad because you don’t have both pieces.
  • Click on the map on the center of the table.

  • This will open a jigsaw puzzle mini-game. Again, easier than it looks because the pieces don’t rotate.

  • OK, so the claw is down by the church. Back to Vampire Wood.

Vampire Wood: Night, then Day

  • Click the time medallion to change night to day.
  • Move the cursor around the left side of the screen until you see the words “place for digging.” Only now you need a spade. Go into the church to look for one.

Inside the Church: Day

  • The spade is back behind the ladder. Take it and go back outside.

Vampire Wood: Day, then night.

  • Click on the spade in inventory, then move the cursor around until you see the words “place for digging” and click again.
  • You will find a big chest.
  • Click on the chest to start a mini-game. This mini-game has two parts.
  • First, take the big metal pieces from the left and fit them over the pegs on the right. Each piece will only fit perfectly in one position. The largest peg covered by each piece will glow.

  • Now, notice that each metal piece is stamped with a roman numeral. And each button across the top also has a roman numeral. What you want to do is click on a button until the symbol on it matches the glowing peg covered by the metal that has the same roman numeral as the button.

  • When you finish, you will be able to look in the chest and take the second piece of the relic. They will combine in inventory.
  • Change day to night and go back to the Vampire Castle.

Vampire Castle: Night

  • Give the relic to the vampire. He will tell you what you need to cure the werewolf. Back to Vampire Wood.

Vampire Wood: Night

  • Try to catch some fireflies. They are too fast! You need a net.
  • Take the spiderweb from the left side of the screen. It will attach to your cursor and you can use it as a net.
  • The fireflies are still pretty quick, but they tend to go in predictable patterns. You can get a little ahead of one and click several times and you will probably catch it in the net. Or just keep clicking in its general area until you catch it. It will take a few tries, but you’ll get all 10 even if you aren’t fast.

  • Go into the church.

Inside the Church: Night

  • Capture the scorpion.

  • Back to the clearing.

Vampire Wood: Night

  • Now you need two things from the Castle: the spider, which you can only get at night, and the snake, which you can only get during the day. So I recommend starting for the spider.
  • Go up to the castle and through the Crypt Door.

Vampire Crypt: Night

  • Capture the spider. Remember you can only get into the crypt at night.

  • Back to the wood to change from night to day.

Vampire Wood: Night, then Day

  • Use the medallion to change to night to day, then back to the Vampire Castle.

Vampire Hall: Day

  • Capture the snake. Now you have the potion, but you still have to heat it. Back to the wood.

Vampire Wood: Day, then Night

  • You have to start boiling the potion at night, so use the medallion to change day to night. Go into the Church.

Inside the Church: Night

  • Get the kettle and go back outside.

Vampire Wood: Night

  • Click on the kettle in inventory, then on the “fireplace” in the yard.
  • Click on the potion in inventory, then on the kettle.
  • Now you need a candle. Back to the church.

Inside the Church: Night

  • Take a candle and go back outside.

Vampire Wood: Night, then Day

  • Use the candle on the fireplace to start the potion boiling.
  • Use the medallion to change night to day.

Continue boiling the potion. When it’s ready, take it and give it to the girl.

  • That ends this chapter.

Enchanted Canvas 6: THE HALL

The Hall

  • Talk to Tom. He will give you the Medal of Power. Now you need to collect the 5 gems to go in it.
  • Go into the Green Room, the only room that’s open.

The Green Room

  • Click on the strange nut. You will see the bubble items you need for it. Each of these items is inside a cabinet.

  • Once you get the nut open, take the seeds and put them in the central planter.

  • Now you need to make a growth potion. Click on the chemical lab table on the left and you will see the bubble items you need.

  • Pick up the growth potion when it is ready.
  • Apply the growth potion to the plant.

  • The plant will grow. Take the room sign medallion from near the top.

Exit back to the hall.

The Hall

  • Put the room sign on the far right door. Go in.

The Red Room

  • Click on the glowing drawer on the left side and you will see the bubble items you need. These are 4 crystals. Unlike most of the other scenes with multiples, in this one although the crystals look identical each crystal will only go in one bubble. So if you try a crystal in a bubble and it doesn’t stick, just try it in a different one.

  • Once you get the drawer open, you will be able to take out a coin. When you do so, you will see that it is a bubble item for a piggy bank on the right side of the room. Now collect all the other coins you need for the piggy bank.

  • When you get all the coins, the piggy bank will break and you will see a chess piece there.
  • Click on the chesstable on the left to see its bubble items. Collect all the chess pieces.

  • Click on the clocks at the back of the room to start a mini-game.
  • This mini-game has 2 stages.
  • First, match the Paris clock next to the Eiffel tower to the clock in the picture of Paris on the magazine. Just click the clock to move the hand.

  • When you set it correctly, a compartment will open at the top of the center UK clock. Take out the piece of paper there. It will show you the codes for the second stage of the mini-game.
  • Now you need to set the other two clocks to match the codes on the paper. Set the center UK clock to 11 and the far left clock to 6.

  • The center clock will open. Take the purple gem.
  • Back in the room, put the purple gem in the center of the back wall.

  • This will shoot glowing light across the room.
  • Move your cursor over the left wall, and you will see a place to click for a mini-game.

  • Line up the marbles in the mini-game so all the marbles are lit and there is light going all the way to the end. You can cross lines if needed. See solution:

  • When you finish, you will be back in the Red Room. Now do a similar mini-game on the right wall.

  • Again, you will be back in the Red Room when you finish. Look at the center table. You will see a new room symbol there. Take it.

  • Now a projector will come up out of the floor. Click on it to find out more about it.
  • Exit to the hall.

The Hall

  • Put the room symbol in place and enter the Purple Room.

The Purple Room

  • Click on the broken dynamo on the left and you will see the bubble items you need.

  • Now click on the crack in the floor, and collect its bubble items.

  • Once you can look into the crack in the floor, take the key you find there. It’s on the right side.

  • Now you need to find a hamster.  I think there was one in the green room.

The Green Room

  • The key doesn’t fit the hamster cage.
  • Try it on the safe—it will break off, but you will be able to see what bubble items you need to open the safe.

  • Once you have the safe open, take the key and open the hamster cage.
  • Take the hamster.
  • Back to the purple room!

The Purple Room

  • Put the hamster in the dynamo. That is one powerful hamster!
  • A purple metal ball will rise in the center of the room. Take the gem out of it for the medal.

  • Uh oh—you can’t get out of the room now because the bookcase fell and is blocking the door! Click on the bookcase to see what bubble items you need.

  • Click the bookcase again for a mini-game. You have to put the books in order by their patterns.

  • When you finish, the filmstrip will be revealed. Take it—you need it for the projector in the red room.  After you take it, the bookcase will be moved to the side and you can get out again.

The Red Room

  • Put the film in the projector.

  • Click again for a mini-game.
  • Now you need to align the images. Click the top wheel 5 times, then the middle wheel 5 times, then the bottom wheel 5 times.

  • A gem will appear. Take it. It will go into the Medal Of Power in your inventory.
  • When you are back in the room, you will see a new room symbol in the center of the table. Take it and go back out to the hall.

The Hall

  • Use the room symbol to unlock the yellow room and go in.

The Yellow Room

  • Click on the globe and collect its bubble items.

  • Click on the easel on the left and collect its bubble items. One is inside the globe, so you need to have done that first.

  • When the picture appears on the easel, take it and put it in the frame on the wall.

  • The picture is actually a portal to a secret room. Go through.

Secret Room

  • Talk to Tom.
  • Click on the switch on the upper left and collect its bubble items.
  • Push the button on the control panel.
  • The battery is dead. Take the battery. Go back to the purple room.

Purple Room

  • There is a broken charger on the right side. Click on it to see what bubble items you need. Collect them.

  • Click on the battery in inventory, then click on the repaired charger. Leave the battery there until all the charger lights are green, then take the battery out again.

  • Back to the secret room!

Secret Room

  • Put the battery back in the control panel.
  • Push the switch on the control panel.
  • Talk to Tom.
  • Take the chesspiece from the cabinet on the back wall.

  • Back to the red room.

Red Room

  • Put the chesspiece on the table.
  • One of the floor tiles on the right will open and you can get the telescope lens out of the hole in the floor.

  • To the yellow room!

Yellow Room

  • Put the lens in the telescope.
  • Click on the telescope to play a mini-game.

  • In this mini-game, you must locate a planet in the viewfinder, then spin the model of that planet on the right until its phase matches what you see in the viewfinder. These are like the phases of the moon.
  • Click on the 4 arrows on the viewfinder to move it.
  • Click on the planet model to spin it.
  • To find all 4 planets, first move the viewfinder all the way to the right. Then all the way up. Then all the way to the left. Then all the way down. You will find 1 planet in each location.

  • When you have all the planet models set correctly, a gem will appear in the center of the right side of the mini-game. Take the gem and it will go into the Medal.
  • Back to the Secret Room to talk to Tom.

Secret Room

  • Talk to Tom.
  • Take the scarab beetle from the table.
  • Go to the Green Room.

Green Room

  • Put the scarab on the pyramid on the right labelled “pyramid without a scarab.”

  • Click on the pyramind to start a tangram mini-game. Here is the solution.

  • Take the gem for the Medal. Now you have 4 of the 5.
  • Go back to the Secret Room to talk to Tom.

Secret Room

  • Talk to Tom.
  • Click on the table for a mini-game to assemble a trap.
  • You can see the blueprint for the trap in the lower right of the mini-game.
  • When I did it, it would only let me put together the pieces in a certain order. I have marked the pieces with the order that worked.

  • When you complete the trap, return to the Hall.

The Hall

  • Click on the trap in inventory, then click on the villain.

  • The fifth gem will fall to the ground. Pick it up.
  • This will complete the medallion and start a new mini-game.
  • This mini-game has two parts.
  • First you must put the items onto the correct symbols. The symbols are for the 4 alchemy elements: Earth, Fire, Air, and Water. You must put the objects on in that order. So leaves to green, candle to sun, feather to wind symbol, and cup to water drop.

  • Now you have to click on the tiles so they rotate around until you have 4 circles each of one solid color. Then put the medallion in the center.
  • Here is how the tiles will look when they’re in the right position:

  • The Philosopher’s Stone is a bottle that will rise up out of the middle. Take it, then watch the ending.
