Merscom, Starz Entertainment and Media Art are joining forces on a sequel to Righteous Kill that takes place about a year after the events of the first game. In Righteous Kill 2, which will be a hidden object game like its predecessor, the player once again takes on the role of detective Erica Dean as she look into a new rash of murders.
The story starts as a mob hitman is found dead with a poem lying on his body. Erica Dean is called in to find the killer before things get out of hand. You’ll work you way through a variety of locations searching for clues as to the identity of the "Poet Killer" so that you can put an end to his vigilante killings before it’s too late.
You’ll also enlist the help of Mary Jacobs, a new forensic officer, to help analyze the items from the crime scenes.
The game will offer 15 different murder scenes to investigate, along with variations based on whether you visit the location during the day or at night, or search inside the building or outside.
According to Merscom, you’ll be able to search areas within murder scenes to hunt for more elusive clues, and will have to use the items you find to unlock new areas.
Righteous Kill 2 is launching soon, so check back to Gamezebo and we’ll let you know the instant that the game is out. In the meantime, you can talk about the game in our forum.
