GENERAL TIPS

 

  • This game is a mix of adventure style gaming coupled with a little bit of hidden object searches. There are also some mini games incorporated into the game.
  • There are no hints in this game so it’s up to you to figure out what needs to be done next. The only type of hint you will get in this game is a faint glitter in the hidden object searches but you really have to pay attention in order to see them.
  • When you see an exclamation point over a person’s head, click on it since they will give you small clues as to what you need to do next. Make sure that you read what they are saying since it will give you a basic idea of what you need to do and where you can find certain items.
  • For the first time ever, we are incorporating video solutions in our walkthroughs. The videos along with the screenshots should hopefully make it easier to follow the solutions for many of the mini games.

CHAPTER 1-FATHER’S FOOTSTEPS

TASK: MEET MR KIPLING AT THE HOUSE

  • As the scene opens, a piece of paper falls on the ground, click on the paper and read what it says.
  • In order to get to the house, place your cursor on the left side of the screen and you will be taken to the next location.
  • Click on the man with the exclamation point over his head.

TASK: HELP DR. KIPLING FIND THE FLOWERS HE NEEDS FOR THE BOUQUET

  • Please look at the screenshot for the location of all the flowers.
  • When you’re done with the flowers he will give you a hat. He will then ask you to fill the vase with water from the fountain. Click in the back of the scene to access the fountain.


TASK: FILL THE VASE WITH WATER FROM THE FOUNTAIN

  • Get to the next scene by clicking in the back of the garden, by the arch. Once you get there you will see a puzzle sign appear over the fountain that is in the far right side.
  • Click on the fountain and you will see a closer view.
  • Click on the blue button that is on the lower right side and you will see a red valve appear, click on the valve and the water will completely drain from the fountain revealing a key underneath.
  • Grab the key and place it on the gold lock that is on the lower left side of the fountain and a set of pipes will appear.
  • Click on the pipes and you will receive a puzzle.
  • Once the puzzle is complete, click on the red valve again and the fountain will fill with water.
  • Click on the vase that is at the bottom of the page and place it on the water fountain and it will fill with water.

PIPE PUZZLE

  • Your goal is to create a path between the 2 glowing green pipes.
  • Click on the pieces to rotate them, you will not have to connect all the pipes that are given to you, just some of them.
  • Please look at the screenshot for the solution.

TASK: BRING THE VASE BACK TO DR. KIPLING

  • Once you’ve filled the vase, place your mouse at the bottom of the scene and you will be taken back to Mr. Kipling.
  • Click on Mr. Kipling and he will automatically receive the vase (in this case there’s no need to pick up the vase first).
  • Mr. Kipling then asks you to bring the vase to the knick-knack store.
  • Click on the vase and it will go into inventory. He tells you that in order to get to the store, you have to go past the water fountain.
  • Click in the back of the scene first to get to the fountain.
  • Then click on the top right side to get to the knick-knack store.

TASK: BRING THE BOUQUET TO THE SHOPKEEPER

  • Click on the door to the store so you can enter the shop.
  • Click on the bouquet and then on the lady and the vase will appear on her desk.

ITEM LIST

  • Please look at the screenshot for the location of all the items.
  • Once you’re done looking for the items, a box will appear on her counter, click on the box. She tells you to follow the path up the road once you get out of the shop.
  • Click at the bottom of the scene to exit the shop.

TASK: FIND THE FISHERMAN AND DELIVER THE ORDER

  • She tells you to follow the path up the road once you get out of the shop.
  • Click at the bottom of the scene to exit the shop.
  • Once outside, click in the top right side, by the road.
  • Once you get to the scene, you will see the fisherman, click on him and he will receive the package automatically.
  • He wants you help him sort some lures, a Puzzle piece appears over the tree stump, click on it.

MINI GAME-SORT THE LURES

  • Help the Fisherman sort the lures by clicking on identical pairs.

TASK: HELP THE FISHERMAN OPEN THE TREASURE CHEST

  • Click on the treasure chest that is on the ground and a mini game will appear.
  • Your goal is to move the block with the key icon to the exit on the right.

  • Once you complete the puzzle, you will be given a piece of the Tekka key.

CHAPTER 2-STRANGERS

TASK LIST:

  • Please look at the screenshot for the location of all the items.

  • Click on the door that is marked "Tavern" and then click on the man that has the exclamation point over his head, his name is Vito.
  • After you talk to Vito, click on the lady that is cleaning the counter. She tells you to go to the Dive Shop is down the road. That is where you can dive for pearls.

TASK: FIND THE HIDDEN OBJECTS

  • Click on the lower left side of the scene to go back outside.
  • Click on the right side of the screen to get the list of hidden objects.

CALL BOX

  • Once you’ve found all the hidden items, click on the call box and you will get a closer view.
  • Click on the receiver and read what the person is telling you.
  • Click at the bottom of the scene to get out of that pop-up window.
  • Click on the top left side if the scene to access the Dive Shop.

DIVE SHOP PUZZLE

  • Click on the box that is on the lower right side of the scene and a puzzle will appear.
  • Pick up the key and place it on the lock.
  • The compartment on the side will open up, you will see some wires that need to be connected.

  • Make the connections according to the screenshot.
  • Once those connections have been made, the compartment underneath will open up.
  • The gears are rusty, so grab the can of oil that is on the right side and place it on the gears.
  • Click ‘start’ once the gears have been oiled.
  • Once you’re done with that puzzle, you will be taken to main scene outside of the dive shop.
  • Click on the puzzle piece that is on the left and another puzzle will appear.

CLAM MINI-GAME

(CLICK HERE TO WATCH VIDEO)

  • This mini game is easy, all you have to do is collect 10 pearls from inside the oyster shells.
  • The only catch is that you have to click on the pearls before the clams shut back down.
  • You have to get them all done before the oxygen tank in the lower left side empties itself out.
  • Once that game is completed, a tank will be added to your inventory.

TASK: BRING PEARLS BACK TO VITO

  • To get out of the dive shop, click on the bottom of the page and you will be back by the gate.
  • From the gate, click on the lower left side of the page and you will be back by the tavern, click on the tavern door.
  • Give the pearls to Vito and he will challenge you to a matching game.
  • Once you beat the mini game, Vito will hand you a statuette.
  • Click at the bottom of the scene, to exit.
  • Once you’re outside, click on the door that is on the left side and you will then enter the art gallery.

MATCHING MINI-GAME

  • In this mini game you have to match identical pairs of items, the twist is that you are playing against Vito. You have to match pairs faster than he can so you can win the level.
  • If you fail to match the pieces before him, you will have to start over until you are able to win.

TASK: VISIT THE ART GALLERY

  • Once you enter the art gallery click on the lady and she will tell you that she wants you to help her restore some of the paintings that have been vandalized.

RESTORE PAINTINGS

  • Click on the paintings that are on the floor and you will get a puzzle of each one in which you need to rearrange the images correctly.
  • Once a piece is in the correct place it will automatically lock in place.
  • You can swap any 2 pieces even if they are on opposite sides of the board.
  • You can see the actual picture that you’re putting back together at the bottom of the page. You will need to restore 3 paintings before you can exit the art gallery.

CALL PHONE

  • Go back to the call phone and he will tell you that he is not interested in sea horses, that perhaps you should take it to someone that like contemporary art.
  • This step can be skipped if you go straight to the Art Gallery.

ART GALLERY

  • Go back to the art gallery and the lady will tell you that she is very interested in it but that she cannot pay you for it. However, she will trade you for the "Maku Ohana" which is an item that is highly praised but some collectors.
  • If you in the tavern, Vito tells you that Maku Ohana is generally used to decode numbers in the Maku Maku language.

CALL PHONE/ TAVERN

  • Go back to the call Phone and you will see a puzzle piece appear over the call phone, click on it.
  • Mr. Copperpot tells you that he has been obsessed with that piece since he first learned of it.
  • He then tells you that you need to prove that piece is real. He tells you that the code is the year on the old diving helmet in the tavern.
  • Go to the tavern and click on the old diving helmet and you will get a closer view. Upon inspection, you will see the year ‘1743’ attached to it.
  • Once you get the code, the person on the phone tells you to use the cypher to help you translate and that you can call using the buttons.

TASK: BRING THE CYPHER TO WINSTON-MAZE

  • When you enter the maze, click on the screen and then follow the hat and drag it across the maze. Follow the maze through the right side of the screen and it will end up at the top of the scene.
  • Please look at the screenshot for the right path through the maze.
  • Once you’re through the maze, click on Mr Winston and he will receive the cypher.
  • He then tells you to click on the box and open the lock.

  • Once that puzzle is complete you will receive the second Tekka Key.

CHAPTER 3: OHANU ISLAND

TASK: VISIT THE WELCOME CENTER

  • From the main scene, click on the door that is on the left side, it says "Welcome Center"

TASK LIST-EXPLORE THE SCENE

  • The screenshot has all the items from the list circled in red

TASK: EXAMINE THE ITEMS ON THE BOOKSHELF

  • Once all the items on the list have been found, click on the bookshelf to see another puzzle.
  • In this mini game you have to click on the misplaced items and place them back on their matching silhouettes.
  • Please look at the screenshot, the matching items will have the same number attached to them.

CLOCK

  • Once all the items are back in place a small piece of paper will fall on the lower right side of the ground, pick it up.
  • It says 2: 45, the hat tells you that you should probably set the clock on the wall with that time.
  • Click on the clock that is on the lower left side of the bookshelf and you will get a closer view. Set the time to 2: 45 and you will see the key appear under the clock.
  • Use the key on the lock that is at the bottom of the bookcase. Inside the shelf you will find a map

TASK: SHOW THE MAP TO MIGUEL

  • Click on the lower right side of the scene and you will be back outside. Click on Miguel and he will look at the map and tell you to keep it.
  • Click in the back of the scene to continue your journey.

TASK: STOP THE ARROWS TO CONTINUE ON THE TRAIL

  • Pick up the moon symbol that is next to the head and place it on the stone that is in front of it. You will see a space for the crescent moon.
  • The pick up the fish that is on the right side of the ground and you will see the stone go up one more space.
  • Now place the shell that is on the lower left side of the ground and you will see the space for it as well.
  • Click in the back of the trail to continue.

TASK: FOLLOW THE PATH UP TO THE ENTRANCE OF THE CAVES

  • The following 2 sections will take care of this task.

TASK LIST #2

  • All the items on the list are highlighted in yellow.

TASK: PUT THE ITEMS BACK IN THEIR PLACE-PART 2

  • The screenshot will show you where the lost items are and the arrow will point you to where they belong.
  • Once all the pieces are back together the door to the cave will open.

TASK: USE THE MAP TO EXPLORE ALL AREAS OF THE CAVE

  • Use the map to get to the locations that you need on the map. Each time you move, the place that you are located on in the map will be highlighted in blue.
  • The following puzzles work much like the game Tetris, you must place the shapes inside of the square so that all pieces fit perfectly.
  • You have to do this 4 different times, each time you place an item correctly you will get a jewel. That jewel will be placed in the back door at the end of the level.
  • The screenshots will show you all the solutions for this puzzle.
  • Once you’re done with the slider puzzle, you will be find another piece of the Tekka key.

MEMORY GAME

  • Once you get past the cave, you will have another puzzle that you must solve. This is much like the game Simon Sez in which you must duplicate the correct sequence of lights.
  • I cannot give you a solution because I believe the solutions may be random. If you miss a sequence, you will be asked to repeat a different sequence, which add a little bit of a challenge to this puzzle.
  • You will have to repeat the sequences many different times. The lights will move from their original positions several different times.
  • Once you’re done with that puzzle you will have a new puzzle to solve.

4 STONE PIECES

  • There are 4 large pieces of stone in the scene and a lighted platform on the floor. Your goal is to duplicate the patterns that are carved in each of the stones onto the platform.
  • Once each design has been duplicated the middle of the stone will open up.
  • To light the platform, simply click on the squares and they will light up.
  • If you chose the wrong square simply click on it again and it will change back to its original state.
  • The screenshots contain all 4 solutions.
  • Once you’ve completed all 4 symbols, grab the torch that is in the bowl and place them on all of the torches that are on the stone pillars.

SLIDER PUZZLE

  • Once you’re done lighting the torches, a chest will appear from the center of the platform, click on it and the slider puzzle will show up.

CHAPTER 4 THE OTHER SIDE

PAINT

  • In this game you need to figure out what colors the circles need to be painted to form the correct order.
  • The only way to tell if your colors are correct is by looking at the splashes of color that are on the left side of the puzzle. If you see a green splash then it means that color is in the right place. If you see a red color, it means that color does not belong in any of the circles.
  • If the color is half green and half red it means that color belongs in one of the 4 circles, it’s just in the wrong place.
  • You cannot place the same color in the same row more than once, unless you started a new sequence.
  • If a color has a green splash next to it, make sure that you put that color in the same place whenever you start to guess the colors of the next row.
  • You have to do the sequences several times before you can complete this puzzle.

TASK: CONTINUE DOWN THE MOUNTAIN

  • Once you complete all the color sequences, the door will open up, click at the bottom of the steps.


TASK: FIND ALL THE HIDDEN OBJECTS

  • Please look at the screenshot for the location of all the items.

HEAD TOWARDS THE WATERFALL

  • In order to head towards the waterfall click in the back of the scene
  • Once you get to the waterfall, click the machete several times on the left side of the back wall and then again on the right side of the back wall.

BALL MINI GAME

  • Your goal is to get the ball into the hole by finding the right combination of bumpers. The square stones on the right side of the wall will bring up the bumpers in the scene.
  • The stone wheel that is on the left side of the wall controls the release of the balls.
  • Once you’ve placed all 3 balls in the right sections, a door will open in the back of the scene, click on it.

TASK: EXPLORE OUTSIDE THE VILLAGE

  • Click on the Chief that is is standing outside, and he tells you that you need to solve some platform puzzles that are outside of the village. Click on the lower right side of the page to go to the next location.

EXAMINE THE PLATFORM

  • Grab the machete from inventory and place it on the platform that is in the middle of the scene and a puzzle will appear, click on the puzzle to start.
  • Make sure that the machete hits the vines several times.

TASK: SHOW THE PEGS TO THE CHIEF

  • Once you’re done with the peg puzzles, go back to the chief and show him the pegs.

  • Place the pegs on the stone triangle that is on the ground. Each peg must go on the same colored slot.

CHAPTER 5 FRIEND OR FOE

TASK LIST 1

  • The screenshot has all the items that you need to find on the list, highlighted on red.

LIST 2: MAZE

  • Go through the gate and you’ll be back at the maze, loo for the items on the list. Once you;re done searching for items, click inside the arch and you will be at the front door.
  • You will see a puzzle piece next to the front door, click on it but you will realize that you do not have the code so go back to Dave’s Dive Shop location.

LIST 3- DAVE’S DIVE SHOP

  • Please look at the screenshot for the solution. All the items from the list are highlighted in yellow.

TASK: EXPLORE INSIDE DAVE’S DIVE SHOP

  • After you’re done finding the items on the list outside the dive shop, the door to the shop will open, click on the door to enter the shop.

TASK: FIND A WAY TO TURN ON THE LIGHTS INSIDE THE DIVE SHOP

CIRCUIT BOARD PUZZLE

  • Click on the red light that is on the lower right side of the page and a mini game will appear.
  • You have to create a circuit connection between the 2 same colored blocks.
  • In order to make a connection, click on a block and drag it over to the same colored block.
  • You have to make sure that the colors do not touch each other.


TASK LIST 4 INSIDE DIVE SHOP

  • Once you’re done with the puzzle, the lights will turn on, look for the list of items.

VIEWFINDER-Part 1

  • Click on the viewfinder inside the shop and you will see a closer view. You will notice that you need some sort of code in order to see what’s on there. Leave this alone for now.
  • Go back to the tavern and look for Vito. He tells you that you need to play his favorite game and if you win, he will give you the code that you need for the viewfinder.


TIC-TAC-TOE MINI GAME

  • This game is a version of tic-tac-toe in which you need to compete against Vito and score the most points.
  • You will be playing as Kate and your symbol is the "O".
  • Make 3 or more matches in a row, the matches can be horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The higher the match, the higher your score is.
  • If you match 3 in a row. you will receive 2 points.
  • If you match 4 in a row. you will receive 5 points.
  • If you match 5 in a row. you will receive 10 points.
  • You have to beat Vito 3 times in order to beat the level.
  • At the end of the game, Vito will give you the code "829", this is the code that you need in order to enter the mansion.

ENTER THE CODE AT THE MANSION

  • Go back to the mansion by going through the maze, click on the keypad that is next to the door.
  • Enter the numbers "829" and then click on "enter". The door to the mansion will open.

FIND THE ITEMS ON THE LIST-MANSION

  • Please look at the screenshot for the solution.

EXPLORE THE MANSION FOR THE NEXT PIECE OF THE KEY

  • Once you’re done with the items on the list, the door in the back will open up, click on the open door to go into the office.
  • When you get inside the office, you will see a puzzle piece appear over the safe, click on the safe.

SAFE LOCK

  • In this mini game you need to move all the keys and locks to the opposite side, without dragging a piece over another piece.
  • The keys need to be on the right and the locks need to be on the left.
  • Please click on the video link to see the solution for this puzzle.

  • Once you’re completed this puzzle, the safe will open, the last piece of the Tekka key will be inside. Click inside of the safe again and you will see the code "7251", that is the code that you need for the Viewfinder.
  • Go back to the viewfinder inside of Dave’s Dive Shop and enter the code.

  • Before you can get back to the dive shop you will have to look for items on the list. Please look at the screenshot for the solution.


VIEWFINDER

  • Click on the viewfinder to get a closer look. Move the arrows on the dials until you’ve entered the code "7251" in that order.

CHAPTER 6 KEY TO THE PAST

SAILBOAT

  • Click on the sailboat and you will see a mini game appear. Your goal is to position the buoys in the right position so you can get to the finish line.
  • The red buoys cannot be moved, only the green ones can be moved.
  • The sail will move by itself all you have to do is position the green buoys before the sailboat touches it.
  • There is more than one way to win this game but we’ve provided a video solution for one of them. Please click on the video link for the solution.

LIST OF ITEMS-SAILBOAT

  • Please look for all the items on the list, once you’re done, the door to the Temple will open, go through it.

TASK: REMOVE THE SPIKES

  • Once you enter the Temple, you will notice that the back door has some spikes going through it.
  • You have to remove those spikes by correctly placing the poles that are on the ground. The poles have to catch the beam of light in just the right place.
  • On top of the poles you will need to place the diamonds, they will be able to reflect the light in just the right place.

TEMPLE SLIDER PUZZLE

  • Once the spikes have been lifted you will find a slider puzzle.

TASK: REMOVE THE WALL

  • In this task, you need to remove the wall that is in the back.
  • Click on the lever that is on the left side of the wall and an apparatus will come out of it. Grab the stick that is on the floor and place it on the apparatus, click on it and you will see part of the wall come down and 2 pieces of the wall will fall to the ground.
  • To finish removing the wall, place the 2 pieces that came off the wall and place them one by one on the brown pillar that has the


TASK: GET ACROSS THE LARGE CAVERN

  • Grab the gold goblet that is on the left side of the ground and place it on the puddle of water that is on the right side of the ground. The goblet will fill with water.
  • Place the goblet of water in the pillar that has the water drop symbol in front of it.
  • Take the shovel and place it on the mound of dirt that is on the lower left side.
  • Place the full shovel on the pillar that is on the far left side, the one with the symbol of a mountain in front of it.
  • Take the mallet and break the right side of the wall, behind the pillar with the wind symbol.
  • Take the torch and place it on the flame that is on the right side of the wall. Then place the lit torch on the pillar that is on the left side that has the fire and a spotlight will form on the ground.
  • Place the flower pot on the spotlight and it will grow some vines that will serve as a bridge.
  • Click in the back of the scene to access the door with all the puzzles inside of it.

TEMPLE PUZZLES

  • Once you get across the large cavern you will be inside the Temple, you will have to solve 3 slider puzzles before you can continue.
