Hot on the heels of Nancy Drew: The Phantom of Venice – which is currently the #1 selling PC game in North America – Her Interactive has given us a peak at the next game in the long-running series, Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy, which is coming out this fall.
Kyler Mallory has invited Nancy Drew to her wedding at Castle Malloy in Ireland, but Nancy arrives to find that the groom is missing! Did he get cold feet, or has the banshee rumored to haunt the castle taken him to the Otherworld? Nancy will have to find Kyler’s fiancé before her wedding is ruined and he’s lost forever.
You’ll step into the shoes of the teenaged sleuth as she explores the ruined castle, sorts out love triangles, and discovers a lost family history while immersing herself in the leprechauns, banshees and faeries of Irish folklore.
Nancy also has to help plan a wedding, and will be kept busy creating seating charts, arranging bouquets, and printing programs.
Like previous Nancy Drew games, players can choose from two difficulty settings: Junior or Senior Detective, and can take risks without having to start over as the game will automatically return the player to the point right before making the fatal mistake.
Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy is scheduled to launch on October 6, 2008.
