Since establishing her own thriving restaurant chain in Diner Dash, Flo has helped each of her friends start their own successful businesses – whether it’s farming, wedding planning or fashion design – in PlayFirst’s ever-expanding catalogue of "dash" games. But Cooking Dash will be the first game since the Diner Dash series to put Flo front and center again as the main character.
Flo’s chef Cookie leaves the diner to pursue a career on a popular reality television cooking show, where each week she invites a different chef to guest star. This creates a shortage of chefs in DinerTown, and each week Flo and Grandma must fill in at a different restaurant while the chef is away.
Eventually, Flo herself will be asked to guest star in the Hollywood (Dinerwood) set of Flo’s Diner, and she and Grandma will get to put on an unforgettable show.
Cooking Dash features the typical time management format where the challenge is to prepare meals and serve them to customers in five different restaurants, each of which features different varieties of food.
There are more than 50 levels of gameplay, two modes (story and an endless shift mode where the requests just keep on coming), and three types of upgrades: functional upgrades that improve performance, decorative upgrades, and upgrades that are awarded for succesfully completing a level.
Cooking Dash should be launching in August. We’ll let you know the moment the game is out.
